Description
We're Eamon & Bec! We’ve cultivated a community of 1M+ on YouTube, created Habit, and most importantly became new parents to Frankie Lee. Our lives have changed immensely in these past few years but through it all, our roots have deepened.
While we've always shown up authentically online, there’s so much more of us that we want to share with our community. Reroot is a safe space where we explore the essence of who we are as individuals. As seekers of community, we hope this podcast continues to be an extension of our mission to foster open, healthy conversations.

This week, we’ve made the trip over to Kate Albrecht & Joey Zehr’s house. You may know them better as the duo behind the YouTube channel Mr. Kate, where they take you on a journey through life, style, interior design, and DIY. Kate & Joey open up about taking a pause from the constant hustle and reconnecting with themselves. We dive into topics like health struggles, the pressures of perfectionism, the evolution of their parenting style, and how they inspire their son Moon to embrace his creativity. If we had to sum this conversation up, it’s that you can’t have it all in life. May this episode inspire you to find your balance and embrace life’s ups and downs. 🫶

Today on Reroot, we’re getting to the root of our good friend Max Bidstrup. You may know Max from his YouTube channel, Max and Occy, where he documents the ups and downs of building his dream property in Australia. In this episode, Max reflects on his time as a paramedic, sharing stories of delivering babies and even saving sheep! We also dive deep into our personal experiences with grief after the sudden loss of our friend Lee, the isolation that comes with content creation, whether kids are on the horizon for Max, why he keeps his relationship private, and more.
Please note: This episode covers sensitive topics, including mental health, suicide, and PTSD, which may be triggering for some listeners.

I cried several times during this interview...Lee spoke to my heart ❤
The rawness and vulnerability Lee shares makes podcast sting even more. A beautiful magnificent soul who inspires so many with her love of life. We are all fragile in our own way. Much LoVe 💖🙏💔
Omg I love your pod casts I could literally listen to you all for hours... Xx this one in particular was amazing thank you 💗
Communication is a big challenge in our project #the_adventurous_mochi we are a French and German couple speaking in English together... But we can do it😉
Man, I really enjoyed this podcast! You guys really helped with our struggles with creating videos for youtube and having a vision. thank you!
Guys I don't care how long your podcasts are I love listening and watching you... I wish your videos were longer as Sundays arrive I look forward to watching you and then gutted when they're finished lol x keep being real

So good to have you guys back...
Really enjoyed this episode guys thank you so much❤️🌟 and about the covid situation, Eamon don't be mad! I live in Iran, from the start untill this day we have been in lockdown for only 1 or 2 mounts, and lockdowns not like every where else (just closing some shops and restaurants)... we are not ALLOWED to use the vaccines, so our government don't care about our lives at all. Just imagine how angry we are... Me as a 22 years old girl am just doing my best to get out of here! My brother lives in Vancouver my sister in Melbourne Australia and we choosed to be separated and miss each other every day rather than being in this situation together.
Such a great episode, you two! What a great way to start up the podcast again. It sounds like Eamon's "gut joke" made the final take! I'm a woman in my mid-40s and I thought it was hilarious. You too are just keeping it real! Looking forward to joining the Facebook group to keep the conversation going and hopefully you will keep sharing more episodes! See you next Monday! ❤️
