Weekly sermons from Resonate Movement, a church for the city, based in Fremont, CA

This year, we have depended on technology and political/social activism to bring us together during this on-going pandemic, but the reality is that many of us are physically, emotionally, and spiritually weaker than we've ever been. And with countless Christians isolated from their communities and seeing their church homes closing their doors indefinitely, the Church is no exception to this weakness. But what if what looks like a decline in the church... is actually a beginning for spiritual awakening? Is there hope that our churches would be so SHOOK that we would experience the kind of revival that would shake our faith and bring personal revival to us, our neighbors, our cities, and the world? Scripture shows us that this hope is real. For the next 12 weeks, we'll be looking through the early chapters of Acts to draw from what the early church understood about Jesus and our shared faith. As we draw out the essence of Christianity from this Scripture, we'll pray that the Lord brings about a new revival that we've never seen before. Pray for these 2 things along with us throughout this series: 1. Lord, ignite a great awakening and spiritual revival within our cities. 2. Start with me. ----------------------- For the Sermon Guide & Daily Devotions to go with this sermon: https://resonatemovement.org/onlinese... In our culture... there are fights happening all around us today. In our homes as we shelter-in-place, in our marriages as unaddressed dysfunctions are revealed, with our children as distanced-learning proves to be more difficult than expected for everyone involved, in our country as we battle it out over racial tensions, social justice issues, and waring politics while the presidential election approaches. It's been traumatic for many of us. While we're fighting all over, often times we are distracted from the greatest fight... the fight between Satan and God's people. We've poured so much of our time, energy, and resources into attacking others, that we've forgotten about the real enemy who's just laying back to enjoy the show. So we, as God's people, need to remember that our fight is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities and forces of darkness of this world. We must unite together in these current times to be reminded of the greater fight against the devil, our enemy, and lean on the Lord and His Word to armor ourselves for the FIGHT!

“What comes into our minds when we think about God is the most important thing about us, for we tend by a secret law of the soul to move toward our mental image of God. This is true not only of the individual Christian, but of the company of Christians that composes the Church. Always the most revealing thing about the Church is her idea of God.” - A.W. TozerWhat is YOUR idea of God? How do you see Him? We become what we believe about who God is. The way we worship Him is based on how high our thoughts are of God. So how does your life reflect the God you follow? Join us as we enter into a new sermon series called Behold, as we reflect on the attributes of God.
It's Baptism Sunday! And we are so excited to have you tune in with us to witness lives changed, because our God is hard at work even during COVID. In this special service, Pastor Scott Taylor will walk us through the baptism of Jesus himself in Matthew 3, and then we'll celebrate and worship together as we witness Resonators being baptized, and declaring their faith in Jesus, all over the Bay!

In light of current events surrounding George Floyd and the Black Lives Matter movement, Pastor Ryan Kwon was invited into the home of Pastor Léonce Crump from Renovation Church in Atlanta, GA to discuss the events that have led up to this season of protests and unrest, and what are some steps that the Church can take towards racial reconciliation.
