Reverse Trikes & Street Legal Quads

Today we have Carl Myers with (cy-car.com) on to talk about his TigerCat Reverse Trike concept vehicle he hopes to start offering for sale in 2009. It's first public showing was on December 6, 2008 at "The 28th Annual Rogue Valley Toy Run" in downtown Medford, Oregon put on by the Rogue Valley Riders and local Harley Davidson store. Our prototype will use a Harley Davidson “Evolution 80 c.i.d.”, or Twin Cam series 88 c.i.d. engine with a 1984-89 Toyota 1/2-ton, 2-wheel drive Pick-up truck 5-speed gearbox and a proprietary rear drive system. Estimated curb weight is 950lb dry and engine RPM to Road Speed should fall in the range of 3,200 RPM at 75 MPH in overdrive 5th Gear.

Today we have a Club member Charles Fowler with Glenwood Design in San Francisco, CA, to talk about 2 new high performance prototype Reverse Trikes he's designed, and hopes to start offering for sale by July 2009. He's tentatively named them the "Busa Hornet" and "R1 Hornet" since they're based on those 2 bikes.

Today will have CEO David Joner with ECO Motor Company (ecomotorcompany.com) discussing the new EMC3 Reverse Trike that's scheduled to be available in 2009. This is a phenomenal 60+ MPG commuter vehicle that has all the features of a car including A/C & heat, auto trans, windshield wipers, soft top, etc., but will be licensed as a motorcycle / trike.
