Hello, and welcome to listen to stanzas 11 to 15, Chapter 1, Ribhu Gita.  Sage Ribhu, filled with love and respect for Lord Shiva, praised Him thus. What beautiful poetry, and what deep adoration in the words! He then pleads to the Lord for His protection.

Moved by Sage Jaigishavya's request, Skanda, the son of Shiva, recites the conversation between Sage Ribhu, son of Brahma, and Lord Shiva, which forms the basis for this book. Sage Ribhu extols the virtupous Lord Shiva, thus.
