Welcome back to the show! This week's episode is a vulnerable reflection of the last few weeks after coming through exhaustion, burn out (...again), and trying to stay afloat through both personal & professional transitions. At the end of the episode, I shared 5 practices that have been helpful for me to find peace, grace, and compassion for this season of life:1 - Remembering that nothing is permanent2 - Ask yourself, without judgement, "when was the last time I did something for the love of it?"3 - Connect with others - in times of challenges and struggles, be aware if you have a tendency to recluse and cut off others and try to maintain relationships throughout these times.4 - Be aware of your self-talk. Do you tend to think of every possible bad thing that could happen OR do you allow yourself to think "but.. what if it all works out?"5 - If you're going through a tough season in life, let's get back to the basics; Are you showering regularly? Are you doing regular self-care? Have you exercised and/or moved your body intentionally recently? How has your food intake been - are you living off of junk & comfort food or are you feeding your body what it needs? If you loved this episode or found any piece of it relatable or relevant, please take a couple of moments to rate and review the show. If you do share this, or any episode, I'd love it if you tagged me (@vibrantly_meg) so I can personally reach out and say thank you and connect further.Warmly,Meg
Welcome back to the show!I'm so excited to bring you Vibrant Moments - a mid-week affirmation tune-up. In this episode, I share a brief overview of my journey with affirmations and why this piece of The Vibrant Mind Podcast feels like the show's missing puzzle piece. In late 2020, after almost a solid year of faithfully using affirmations, I poured my heart into creating my own deck of affirmation cards and have since been more quiet about them than they deserve. My intention for this segment of the show is to bring these cards to LIFE, to pick you up mid-week when your energy may be dwindling, and remind you of how incredibly deserving, worthy, and courageous you are.My friend, you deserve the world and I hope these episodes help you take a few slow, quiet moments to yourself each week to ground down, tune in, and remind yourself who TF you are.If you love this episode, please take a few seconds to rate and review the show on your favorite listening platforms. If you share this episode on your IG, please tag me @vibrantly_meg so I can personally reach out and say thank you for helping others find the show.Warmly,Meg
Welcome back to the show! This week’s episode is so good and I am beyond excited to get to share this interview with you. Kate and I were introduced via Maddie Mackey, featured in episode #17, and knew right away that we were going to have a blast recording an interview together. We covered so much ground in this interview, spanning many topics about life, pleasure and grief, exploration, and a unique deep dive into the human experience.Who is Kate Vosti:Kate is a Somatic Movement Facilitator who offers a unique, therapeutic experience using "non-sexual” sensuality to move and repurpose grief, reconnect to joy and pleasure, and claim authentic expression and confidence. Her clients receive a combination of her advanced studies: academic knowledge (Masters in Leadership Studies and Somatic Psychotherapy), spiritual practice (a decade of Buddhist study), and dance training (25 years of varied forms). Sensual Movement Therapy includes: online courses/memberships, 1:1 sessions, and in-person retreats. She is passionate about offering a personalized healing method that goes beyond talk-therapy and uses the wisdom of the body to process blockages and grief. "Non-sexual sensuality" is an inclusive way to relate to yourself during times of sexual inavailability. Kate was inspired to create this practice when she was facing severe health issues and grieving her father's death. There are many reasons we go through these periods and it's relieving to be able to reconnect to pleasure through sensorial experience that isn't related to sex. Her clients are calling her work "life-changing," "powerfully therapeutic," and "a daily necessity." Hey There,Welcome back to the show! This week's episode is a vulnerable one that was meant to be short and sweet (hah!) but 30 minutes came and went so quickly. Come along on the ride, along the journey, this week as I share about my current experience in the "messy middle", in real time. We go a bit deeper into what the "space in-between" means, how it feels to be out of sight of the launch point where we began a new journey while also not being far enough along to see the "finish line" on the horizon in front of us. Mel Robbins quote shared in the episode:"Dreams are the beacon, the lighthouse. Goals are the brick by brick path that you walk toward it".Watch the full video here: https://youtu.be/hO7UKzgUn1A++I also share a few of the tips that have helped me along the way over the last few weeks. If you've loved this episode, please share (+tag me @vibrantly_meg) with a friend that could use this message today. Hey Friend,Welcome back to the show! So happy to be here with you for another week after a crazy, plan packed April and a missed couple of episodes. This week, we dive into 5 tips for when you're feeling a creative block and/or uninspired to create for your passions.1) We talk about how moving your body; dance, exercise, stretching, going for a walk, etc benefits not only your body, but your mind & soul as well.DayBreaker: https://www.daybreaker.com"Wake Up & Dance! DayBreaker is a wellness community & sober morning dance party inspiring happiness online and in 28 cities around the world."2) Journaling, specifically brain-dumping; writing, drawing, and/or doodling out everything in your mind at the current moment until you feel you have the mental bandwidth to move forward in your creative processes.3) Create for the sake & joy of creation rather than consuming your thoughts with monetizing your creations and time or feeling the pull to create with the intention of sharing for "likes", etc.4) Creating space for self-care; taking a shower, washing your face, mediating, journaling, connecting with a loved one, reading a book for pleasure, && asking yourself.. are you getting enough water, nourishment, & rest?5) Allow yourself to have guiltless FUN! When we are so overly focused on working, productivity, making money, and getting stuck in the "rat race", we so often feel zapped of our zest for life, creativity, and energy to sustain it all. Having FUN is just as important to our processes and happiness and the processes themselves. If you loved this episode, please share & tag me on IG @vibrantly_meg and send to a friend that could use these tips.Warmly,Meg

Welcome back to the show!!This week is a short & sweet episode in which we talk about switching up the language we're choosing when talking about our weekly to-do lists. As busy bees with jobs, personal businesses, spending time with loved ones, keeping our homes clean and functioning, among so many other tasks - we can start to feel overwhelmed, burnt out, and even as far as resentful of our schedules if we're looking at all of our "have-to's".A couple of years ago, I began shifting the way I spoke about my daily & weekly tasks + activities from "ugh, I have so much to do.." to "oh, I get to live a full, active, productive life.." and it helped me feel more present and enjoy the tasks that can start to feel monotonous and frustrating when feeling tied down and obligated to them. The words we speak to ourselves (and others), the thoughts we believe, and the way feel feel about the many moments that make up our lives are so impactful and important. If you're going to implement this idea into your self-talk and/or know a loved one that could really use this perspective shift - share on IG & tag me @vibrantly_meg so I can say thank you and cheer you on!It'd also mean the world if you rate & review the show on your favorite podcast streaming platforms.Warmly,Meg
