There are so many challenges in Transit operations today with new FTA and FMCSA regulations, the pandemic, driver shortages, etc.  Listen to hear how one transit agency is dealing with all these challenges.
FMCSA requires all locations with CDL drivers to check  them out by the Drug & Alcohol  Clearing House. This is required pre-hire & annually. Two of the FMCSA leaders explain how it works, and what you need to do!                
The FMCSA issued new minimum training requirements for bus drivers who require a CDL Class A or Class B license. These new regulations are referred to as Map-21, or ELDT (Entry Level Driver Training) and are being enacted from 2/7/22. This podcast includes the experts Rich Clemente and Josh Jones of the FMCSA who discuss these new regulations, why they came to be, who they apply to, and how to meet compliance.
