Confederate Monuments, Confederate Flags, Confederate Heritage from a Modern Black Man's Perspective. Native Mississippian and author, AL Arnold, is the host for Orderlyforlee's Podcast. Arnold's great-great grandfather, Turner Hall Jr. was with General Lee when he surrendered to General Grant at Appomattox. Turner Hall also attended the 1938 Gettysburg reunion as a Black Confederate and was the guest of honor at the local parade in Hugo Oklahoma for his service to Robert E. Lee. Hall received honors and was awarded an all expense paid trip to New York City in 1940 to be interviewed by the National Talk Radio Show, "We, The People." Hall served as a body servant for the Confederate Armies from 1861-1865. Born October 10, 1840 and died January 5th, 1942 Hall had an undying affection toward his Confederate service and left a rich Black Confederate Heritage for his large Mississippi Family. His Great-Great Grandson, Arnold discovered his heritage and authored two books, Robert E. Lee's Orderly A Modern Black Man's Confederate Journey and Robert E. Lee's Orderly A Modern Black Man's Confederate Journey-Extended Edition was published August 3, 2018. This is Arnold's Journey, the people he has met, the stories he has heard and the message of reconciliation with his Confederate Heritage and his Southern White Brothers and Sisters in the South!

Orderlyforlee takes a Wild Southern Ride with an Italian Descendant from the SunnySide Plantation in Arkansas.  His guest, grandma JoAnne, brings her Italian heritage to bare in this Bonus Episode. Hear this Wild Southern Journey from Italy to Arkansas. The Sunnyside Plantation was a cotton plantation  near Lake Village,  Chicot County, Arkansas, in the Arkansas Delta. Built as a cotton plantation,  it was farmed using the forced labor of African American slaves. After the War Between the States freedman farmed it. From the 1890s to the 1910s, it used convict laborers and employed immigrants from Northern Italy, many of whom were subject to peonage. Still, in retirement, she maintains that same encouragement through writing while focusing on empowering, encouraging, and enlightening our future leaders to embrace their individuality and uniqueness while preparing to reach a common goal of making the world a better place. The Cannonball House and the Story of Cora Lundy, the slave, who lived there and the Hero Sons that she raised. One Wild Southern Ride takes you into the life of the Cannonball House and the discovery of a Black family that surpassed the circumstances of their day to arrive as true American Heroes.  Cora was once featured in the research of Henry Louis Gates, Jr in his series, "Tracing Your Roots:" Three of Cora's sons served in World War II. One of them was distinguished with a medal of honor for his bravery during the War. Orderlyforlee interviews Archivist, Wayne Dobson of the Cannonball House in Macon Georgia to uncover the lives of the Black people who lived there. Cora born between the year of 1850-1853 died on December 14, 1921 in Macon, GA. For over 40 years, Cora worked in the Cannonball House. Judge Asa Holt built the home in 1853..
