Its been a sad week with the passing if Gregory Lee. I started off a fan many years ago, but over the past few years he became a cherished friend, talking me through some pretty rough patches in life. I know he was much closer to many more of you. My heart goes out to everyone he touched either through friendship or music. Most of all my heart goes out to his daughters and partner. Again it's been a couple minutes since I posted, a lot has been going on in my life and 2023 has not been the kindest year to me, more on that another time.  Anyway back in May we celebrated Mother's Day here in North America. I was feeling a bit down after my mom passing, little did I know it was going to get worse. When I lived in Canada, Detroit was where I went to see MANY shows, and during that time there was LOTS of ska going on. One of those venues was the Magic Bag. While the Magic Bag still rocks there isn't as much Ska these days, and Detroit it a bit far from Pennsylvania. But I did reach into my magic bag and pull out an old episode to post. One thing I have become painfully aware of is that my lack of knowledge as far as Latin American bands go is causing me to miss so much amazingly good music! And admittedly one thing I hate to be is willingly ignorant. So I named this episode Unapologetically Awesome, simply because I don't speak any Latin languages. I can't even pretend well. But this music is so amazing that I have to share it now and always. Don't let you lack of understanding limit your love of anything, especially music!  So this episode you will find a ton of Latin ska, most of it new and all sorts of other little goodies.
