Righto pals, buckle up! Today's episode with Bobby Cappuccio is a whirlwind of banter, life reflections, and the kind of deep dives that make your brain work in the midst of plenty of lols. If you’ve ever found yourself caught between the tension of routine and spontaneity, or wondered why we humans seem to outsmart ourselves when it comes to the simplest things (like listening to your body before it decides to revolt mid-deadlift), you’ll feel seen. We unpack everything from why some environments just light us up to the psychology behind decisions we think we’re making but might actually be on autopilot for. Bobby shares some chaotic tale about Iceland’s Christmas Yule Cat (yep, a cat that eats kids who don’t wear new clothes - I honestly don't know where he gets all this crap from) and takes us on a reflective journey about how connection, environment, and values shape us in ways we often miss. If you’re in for a mix of laughs, actionable insights, and a few moments that might leave you questioning whether you’re truly running your day - this bad boy is for you. A couple of weeks shy of his 24th year of sobriety (woohoo), Mick Hall is back for another awesome chat about all things boxing, booze, bad decisions, and bloody great ones too.  I quiz Mick on the definition of being a 'recovering addict' when he's a whopping 24 years clean and sober, curious of the mentality behind how we define ourselves through change and personal evolution. Mick shares how boxing taught him more than just how to throw a decent punch and how it became a mirror for life itself, from managing stress to staying grounded when the pressure’s on. We also chat about the addictive mind... what it feels like, how it latches onto self-doubt and shame, and the tools Mick uses to stay clean and thriving. He’s brutally honest about the non-negotiables of recovery, the importance of connection, and why accountability is a game-changer. This episode is packed with so many gold nuggets, whether you’re fighting addiction, dealing with your own challenges, or just looking for a little extra motivation to keep rolling with the punches.  Enjoy!   JOIN TRWT https://bit.ly/trwt2025  SPONSORED BY TESTART FAMILY LAWYERS Website: testartfamilylawyers.com.au MICK HALL Website: myhab.com.au/ TIFFANEE COOK Linktree: linktr.ee/rollwiththepunches/ Website: tiffcook.com LinkedIn: linkedin.com/in/tiffaneecook/ Facebook: facebook.com/rollwiththepunchespodcast/ Instagram: instagram.com/rollwiththepunches_podcast/ Instagram: instagram.com/tiffaneeandco  See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.
What's your purpose?? Ahhh, the age-old question. What if the secret to living your purpose lies in understanding your body, mind, and biology on a deeply personal level? In this cracking episode, I'm joined by Dr. Cam McDonald, the leading voice in precision health and epigenetics, to uncover the science behind discovering and living your purpose. The good doc breaks down the unique ways our bodies and minds are wired for health, happiness, and fulfillment - and how aligning with our natural strengths can transform everything from our productivity to our relationships. We dive into everything: how your physical and mental 'telos' (natural purpose) shapes your behavior, why so many of us feel 'stuck' in a system that doesn’t suit us, and how we can reclaim energy and joy. PLUS, we explore the role of mindfulness, the impact of medications like ADHD stimulants, and the surprising power of asking the right questions about yourself. Whether you're chasing purpose, struggling with focus, or just curious about how your biology impacts your day-to-day, this episode is jam packed with the good stuff.    JOIN TRWT https://bit.ly/trwt2025  SPONSORED BY TESTART FAMILY LAWYERS Website: testartfamilylawyers.com.au CAM McDONALD Website: shae.group/dr-cam-mcdonald/ TIFFANEE COOK Linktree: linktr.ee/rollwiththepunches/ Website: tiffcook.com LinkedIn: linkedin.com/in/tiffaneecook/ Facebook: facebook.com/rollwiththepunchespodcast/ Instagram: instagram.com/rollwiththepunches_podcast/ Instagram: instagram.com/tiffaneeandco      See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.
This one’s a wild ride, fam. I’m catching up with comedian Alex Hooper, who’s back on Roll With The Punches for round two, three fleeting years after our first chat. Let me tell you, Alex has lived about 80 lifetimes since then, so buckle up. From battling stage 3 Hodgkin's Lymphoma and almost dying from Sepsis, to navigating infertility struggles, a miscarriage, and losing his dad - all within a few chaotic months... Alex’s story is raw, real, and (somehow) hilariously honest. He shares how he kept his mindset afloat through the darkest times, his transformative experience with ayahuasca in Peru, and the lessons he’s learned about facing life’s toughest punches with love, humor, and a hefty dose of perspective. We also get into his new podcast, Hopefully Kidding (a brilliantly named series on infertility and hope), his upcoming comedy special, and why he refuses to let life (or anyone else) dim his light. If you’re craving a reminder of how to find strength, connection, and even laughter amidst life’s messiest moments, this is your episode. This week, I'm back with one of my absolute favorites, Jem Fuller, and given my recent workshop I'm diving into why the f*&k we find ourselves stuck - and more importantly, how we can break free. Jem and I riff on everything from the power of choice (and it's sneaky curse) to the magic of nature and what happens when we take the time to truly feel. Jem brings his signature perspective on choosing positivity, shedding guilt, and the beauty of creating habits that transform. We chat about being ready for change, trusting the process, and how service to others can give life a whole new meaning. In this conversation, we dive deep into John’s raw and unapologetic approach to motivating teens, families, and adults alike. Susie Keratiotis joins me again for a second brilliant conversation. We first met when Susie shared the raw and inspiring story of leaving a toxic relationship and rebuilding her life. This time, we dive even deeper into her healing, how the experience of sharing her story with us the first time felt, and exploring how healing isn’t a destination but an ongoing process. We unpack the lessons she’s learned along the way, the transformative power of yoga and community, and the courage it takes to trust yourself again. If Susie’s first episode hit you in the heart, this follow-up coffee chat will do just that, too. Raw, real, and packed with (for some, all too relatable) wisdom. Loneliness. It’s something we all experience, yet few of us talk about. In this far-from-lonely chat, I’m joined by the brilliant Dr. Michelle Lim, one of the world’s leading voices on loneliness and the powerhouse behind Ending Loneliness Together. She shares with us truth about loneliness - what it is, what it isn’t, and how it’s impacting our mental, physical, and social health. Dr. Lim breaks down the myths, the stigma, and why loneliness is more than just a personal problem... it’s a systemic one! From understanding the biological and psychological effects of feeling lonely to practical tips on building meaningful, healthy connections. It’s always a privilege to have Dr. Jeffrey Rediger on the show, and this chat sure did not disappoint. Dr. Jeffrey’s a Harvard-trained physician, researcher, and the author of Cured, who has spent decades exploring the extraordinary link between trauma, spontaneous healing from so-called 'incurable' illnesses, and the mind-body connection.  We talk about the power of the nervous system, the role of trauma in shaping who we are, and how healing isn’t just about fixing what's broken - it's about rediscovering the parts of ourselves we’ve tucked away. From navigating complex emotions like shame to understanding the layers of consent and the subtle ways we reenact unhealed wounds, this conversation is raw, real, and transformational. He's one of my favourite guests! Whether you're on a personal healing journey or fascinated by the intersection of science and spirituality, this episode will leave you inspired to dig deeper into your own story.   SPONSORED BY TESTART FAMILY LAWYERS Website: testartfamilylawyers.com.au DR. The lad is back... And once Bobby gets his usual cat-related story-telling and analysis is promptly out of the way we knuckle down and talk the quirks of modern tech reliance, reminisce about old-school TV shows (hello, Ally McBeal), and share personal stories about the randomness of life and the joy of letting go. From navigating hierarchy in leadership to my unexpected motorbike karaoke sessions (because 'Hooked on a Feeling' randomly pops into my head every time I ride), this episode is an eclectic mix of deep thought, good questions (or the analysis of how to ask them), laughter, and relatable moments.   SPONSORED BY TESTART FAMILY LAWYERS Website: testartfamilylawyers.com.au BOBBY CAPPUCCIO Website: theselfhelpantidote.com TIFFANEE COOK Linktree: linktr.ee/rollwiththepunches/ Website: tiffcook.com LinkedIn: linkedin.com/in/tiffaneecook/ Facebook: facebook.com/rollwiththepunchespodcast/ Instagram: instagram.com/rollwiththepunches_podcast/ Instagram: instagram.com/tiffaneeandco    See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.
Brace yourself, because this one’s going to hit you right in the feels. Deb Richardson is back on the mic with me, and if you caught her story the first time she joined me, you’ll know exactly why I couldn’t wait to have her back. Deb’s journey is one of grit, heart, and a level of badassery that’s hard to put into words. Deb was a guest on behalf of The Code 9 Foundation (episode 584) where Deb recounted her days as a member of Victoria Police and being caught up in the Russell Street bombing, however we also learnt about Yuri, the young 11-year-old Ukrainian boy who Deb hosted in 1993. Well, it is fair to say that a pretty special bond was created between Deb and Yuri before Yuri went home. There is much more to this story, so please check out Deb’s first episode. Deb and Yuri lost contact until 2017 where they reconnected, and this contact accelerated after Yuri saw Russian tanks roll into the Ukraine. What transpired was Deb asking what she could do for Yuri and the idea that Deb could knit some teddy bears for the young children who have been displaced, well Deb managed to get 14,000 “Yuri bears” knitted, yes that is correct, 14,000 “Yuri bears”, obviously a quite remarkable achievement. What is more remarkable is the earlier this year, Deb travelled to the Ukraine to deliver the “Yuri bears”. This is her story.   SPONSORED BY TESTART FAMILY LAWYERS Website: testartfamilylawyers.com.au TIFFANEE COOK Linktree: linktr.ee/rollwiththepunches/ Website: tiffcook.com LinkedIn: linkedin.com/in/tiffaneecook/ Facebook: facebook.com/rollwiththepunchespodcast/ Instagram: instagram.com/rollwiththepunches_podcast/ Instagram: instagram.com/tiffaneeandco    See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.
Fresh off the back of our trip to the Himalayas, where life-shifting moments unfolded on rugged peaks and sacred grounds, Jem Fuller is back on air with me, and we unpack what it means to truly let go. From ancient rituals to personal transformations, this ep recounts the moments of magic, connection, energy, and creating meaningful change that the Himalayas offered up. Jem shares how he’s blending purpose and passion with projects like Meaning on the Mountain, his retreats, and the game-changing Love Economy - an initiative that literally lifts people out of poverty through meditation and love. Oh, and did I mention Jem's very own wedding proposal at the highest (literal and metaphorical) peak of our trip? Yep, it’s all here. We also explore the role of ritual in unlocking deep emotional shifts, how to sustain those life-changing moments once you're back home, and why cultivating gratitude for our toughest battles can be the ultimate superpower. This one will leave you with a head full of possibilities, and maybe a little urge to book a ticket to the mountains. Today's story is one that’s equal parts confronting and inspiring. Meet Bret - a bloke who’s been through something so rare and extreme that most of us can’t even begin to wrap our heads around it. Bret was hit with Guillain-Barre Syndrome (GBS), a condition where your immune system turns on you, attacking your peripheral nerves. It’s as scary as it sounds. For someone as active and healthy as Bret, the sudden loss of control over his own body was beyond terrifying. Imagine going from your everyday life to being hospitalised multiple times while doctors try to solve the mystery of what’s happening inside you. His symptoms hit hard. He lost the use of his arms and legs, and felt as if he was burning from the inside out, something I'd sure never raise my hand to endure. When the GBS diagnosis finally came, it was the start of a long, grueling road to recovery. Bret had to literally retrain his brain to use his body again. Think about that for a moment... learning to hold a cup, to move your limbs, to function in ways we all take for granted. It’s a level of resilience and determination that’s hard to fathom. And here’s where the story gets beautifully human. With the unwavering support of his wife Lisa and his loved ones. Today, Bret is back at work full-time, continuing his recovery journey, and proving just how much grit the human spirit can muster when faced with the unthinkable. This one’s a powerful reminder of how tough we can be, even when life throws us the hardest punches.   SPONSORED BY TESTART FAMILY LAWYERS Website: testartfamilylawyers.com.au TIFFANEE COOK Linktree: linktr.ee/rollwiththepunches/ Website: tiffcook.com LinkedIn: linkedin.com/in/tiffaneecook/ Facebook: facebook.com/rollwiththepunchespodcast/ Instagram: instagram.com/rollwiththepunches_podcast/ Instagram: instagram.com/tiffaneeandco    See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.
Nicole Liddell is one of those people who embodies everything I bang on about here on Roll With The Punches. She’s lived it, processed it, and come out swinging on the other side with wisdom that’ll make you stop in your tracks... And thus, I could not have asked her any quicker to drop in behind the mic and have a chat with me.  Nicole’s years on this planet so far have been a full-blown rollercoaster. From raising three kids as a single mum, wrestling with her relationship with her body, diving into a psychology degree, and now smashing out a PhD on intimate partner violence, she’s done the hard yards. But it’s the inner work she’s done - the messy, confronting, beautiful stuff - that really made me lean in. We talk about shame, self-compassion, boundaries, forgiveness (or the lack of it), and how our stories shape our lives - positively if we let them. Nicole doesn’t sugarcoat her journey, and she doesn’t shy away from the tough stuff. Her insights into self-awareness, trauma, and empowerment will have you nodding, crying, and maybe even journaling like a boss. This is a conversation for anyone who’s ever felt a little lost, a little stuck, or like you’re standing in the middle of your own mess wondering how the hell to find your way out. Nicole’s here to show you that on the other side of that mess is something incredible... YOU, in all your unapologetic glory.   SPONSORED BY TESTART FAMILY LAWYERS Website: testartfamilylawyers.com.au TIFFANEE COOK Linktree: linktr.ee/rollwiththepunches/ Website: tiffcook.com LinkedIn: linkedin.com/in/tiffaneecook/ Facebook: facebook.com/rollwiththepunchespodcast/ Instagram: instagram.com/rollwiththepunches_podcast/ Instagram: instagram.com/tiffaneeandco    See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.
The ever-brilliant Dr. Helena Popovic is back for another chat and today we leap into the science of brain health, resilience, and the habits that help us thrive. This ep is packed with practical insights and actionable advice for anyone looking to sharpen their mind and enhance their quality of life. Dr. Helena shared the latest groundbreaking revelations she presented at global Alzheimer's conferences, emphasising the critical role of lifestyle, environment, and mindset in brain health. She busted myths about dementia and clarified the difference between dementia and Alzheimer's, offering a wealth of knowledge on the early signs, risk factors, and prevention strategies. We explored the fascinating connection between smell and brain function, including how something as simple embracing our sense of smell can boost memory and cognitive health. Dr. Helena also revealed the powerful impact of adventure, gratitude, and purposeful living on brain resilience. From the role of hormones in women’s brain health to the effect of sugar and processed foods on our cognitive decline, Dr. Helena delivered hard-hitting truths with her signature energy and humor. And, of course, I nudged her to divulge her top brain-boosting tips, supplements, and exercises to keep our minds sharp at any age.   SPONSORED BY TESTART FAMILY LAWYERS Website: testartfamilylawyers.com.au DR HELENA POPOVIC Website: drhelenapopovic.com TIFFANEE COOK Linktree: linktr.ee/rollwiththepunches/ Website: tiffcook.com LinkedIn: linkedin.com/in/tiffaneecook/ Facebook: facebook.com/rollwiththepunchespodcast/ Instagram: instagram.com/rollwiththepunches_podcast/ Instagram: instagram.com/tiffaneeandco    See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.

Thomas Hoffman is not just a brilliant mate of mine, he's an absolute legend in the fields of inclusion, diversity, and culture reform. Thomas takes us on a deep dive into the ever-evolving conversation about gender identity, biological sex, and the societal systems that shape (and often constrain) our understanding of these topics. We discuss the nuances of biological sex, gender identity, and expression, unraveling how each differs yet overlaps, and why our binary frameworks fail to capture the beautiful complexity of human experience. Thomas shares fascinating insights from his work in gender equality and culture reform, addressing why inclusion is vital - not just for individuals but for societal growth. We touch on contentious topics, from gender in sport to workplace culture, exploring how systems and biases create barriers, and how they might be dismantled. This episode isn’t about answers - it’s about questions. Questions that challenge stereotypes, open minds, and, most importantly, invite understanding and respect.   SPONSORED BY TESTART FAMILY LAWYERS Website: testartfamilylawyers.com.au THOMAS HOFFMAN LinkedIn: LinkedIn.com/ThomasHoffman Email: tyhoffman@gmail.com  TIFFANEE COOK Linktree: linktr.ee/rollwiththepunches/ Website: tiffcook.com LinkedIn: linkedin.com/in/tiffaneecook/ Facebook: facebook.com/rollwiththepunchespodcast/ Instagram: instagram.com/rollwiththepunches_podcast/ Instagram: instagram.com/tiffaneeandco    See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.
What happens when you take an unstoppable advocate for youth homelessness, mix in some fiery passion for social change, and sprinkle it with raw authenticity? You get Carla Raynes, founder and CEO of Bridge It, and one of the most inspiring humans I’ve had the privilege of meeting. Carla shares the power of stepping outside of societal labels and redefining what it means to be a leader, a woman, and a change-maker. Carla shares the journey of building Bridge It - an organisation tackling youth homelessness in a way that feels more like home and less like a broken system. From empowering traumatised young women to reclaim their lives to calling out systemic flaws with unfiltered honesty. We talk about letting go of the 'busy badge', stepping into productivity, and learning to scream (literally) into the void to release what no longer serves us. Carla opens up about her own wake-up call, a health scare that led her to reevaluate her life and reclaim time for herself - something we can all learn from. Plus, we explore the difference between being 'nice' and being 'kind', why women are conditioned to play small, and how challenging those outdated narratives can unlock a whole new level of impact. Carla’s mission? Supporting amazing women to do amazing things. In this ep, I’m joined by the one and only Mark LeBusque, a leader in leadership (pun intended), and the guy who gets to the heart of what makes us tick as humans. We dive into some big stuff (as we always do) like the stories we tell ourselves, the circumstances we think define us, and what happens when those two worlds collide. Fresh from my recent transformational experience in India (yep, still unpacking that mountain-top magic), I couldn’t wait to pick Mark’s brain about the tricky dance between our internal narratives and external realities. Spoiler alert: there’s no one-size-fits-all band-aid for the wounds we carry. But we do have the power to write (and rewrite) our own stories. It's typical to go into deep unchartered waters when LeBusque is on the show, but it's more typical that Mark is peeling back the layers of Tiff to see what's lurking beneath the surface. This week, we're switching seats and I'm taking the wheel on this.  We get into why saying 'sorry' might be a sneaky survival tactic (and how to stop over-apologising)... The cognitive immune system: what it is, why it sabotages us, and how to keep it in check... Adaptive vs. forced change, and why forcing it never works... Mark’s honest reflections on burnout, balance, and the sneaky ways life knocks on your door with lessons you don’t want to learn... How gratitude, even for the hard stuff like shame, can set us free. This is a no-filter chat about what it really means to roll with life’s punches (pun absolutely intended), and why the work we do on ourselves never really stops. Whether you’re navigating your own mountain, or just figuring out how to survive Monday, you’re going to want to tune in.   SPONSORED BY TESTART FAMILY LAWYERS Website: testartfamilylawyers.com.au MARK LEBUSQUE Website: marklebusque.com TIFFANEE COOK Linktree: linktr.ee/rollwiththepunches/ Website: tiffcook.com LinkedIn: linkedin.com/in/tiffaneecook/ Facebook: facebook.com/rollwiththepunchespodcast/ Instagram: instagram.com/rollwiththepunches_podcast/ Instagram: instagram.com/tiffaneeandco    See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.
