The rumors are true... Rosè with Rae Season 3 is baaack!!! We have A LOT to cover this season, so grab a glass of your favorite rosè and let's have some fun!
I'm sipping rosè with another sister today! Olivia is joining us for this week's episode of Rosè with Rae and our wine glasses are filled with a watermelon rosè (spoiler alert: you can't taste the watermelon at all). This week is filled with hilarious stories including one where I went to an improv class and had to pretend I had contracted AIDS. OMG! It was as terrible and awful as it sounds, ya'll. We're a bit all over the place today, but if there's one thing I know you'll get from this episode it's that there are no limits to what you are capable of, sis. You might even catch a teaser to a twerk lesson. Say it with me now, "right cheek, left cheek!" Rosè with Rae is best consumed after 1 (or 3) glasses of rosè, so pour a glass, sit back, and join us for another episode. Today I'm sitting down with a friend who I could easily describe as one of the most inspiring people in my life, Grace Allen. She embodies grace in every definition of the word and it's an episode that will inspire you to live your best life on purpose and teach you to prioritize your health, wellness, and goals in life. There is SO much wisdom and so many gems shared in this episode. Whether you are a stay-at-home mama who uses the word "just" to describe the role that you play in your home or you're single and wanting to live your life with more intentionality, this one is for you. Grace and I talk through all things wellness, self-care, and setbacks that set us up for all that God has for us. If you're looking for a little motivation on how to live your best life on purpose, Grace and I share our own stories through our ever-changing bodies and how we take back control of our health. This episode made me laugh out loud, tear up a little bit, and want to praise God all in the same sitting. I'm sipping on some rosè with my girlfriend Trilliah and chatting through love, loss, and everything in between. Trilliah and I are a part of a club that no one wants to be in, but you're always so glad that you don't have to be a member alone. Her dad died when she was growing up and my husband passed away in 2018. We're chatting through how to love your friends through loss but also how to speak up for yourself when you feel that your friends aren't supporting you in your grief. Trilliah is dating one of J's best friends, so you'll hear some hilarious stories of how we came to be friends, what NOT to do on a first date, and our first ever male guest chatting giving us some dating advice from a man's perspective. If you need a stir in your spirit, we also talk through how good God is and why His timing is always better than ours -- even when we He tells us "no". Rosè with Rae is best consumed after 1 (or 3) glasses of rosè, so pour a glass, sit back, and join us for episode four. It's a special day for Rosè with Rae because my sissy is joining us for episode 3. Today we're chatting through this idea of "having it all" and what that even looks like. Stephanie is a fashion blogger and content curator who has worked with major brands and built a platform for herself. She's been in the game for ten years and drops a lot of gems for bloggers at any stage. She's sharing some tips on how she got started, what it takes to grow your platform, and how you differentiate yourself in an oversaturated market. You'll also get a laugh watching us straight up stumble through giving dating advice in our Sip on This segment due to both of us being out of the game for QUITE some time. In today's episode, I'm sitting down with my soul sister and kindred spirit, Jeanetta Norris. We both have a huge heart for natural and whole living, so we are chatting through body odor and how to combat it without deodorant (yes, you read that correctly...neither of us wears deodorant every day), how astrology and crystals fit into the kingdom of God, not conforming to the rules that society places on us, and how to take back your menstrual cycle to live a healthier life. And if you tune in to the web show, you'll get a Beyoncè Homecoming performance that clearly sets this off as a twerk episode! Welcome to Rosè with Rae - a web show and podcast for real-life conversations, some lighthearted and some heavy, with me and some of my closest friends. In today's INAUGURAL episode, I'm sitting down with Samantha Castillo, my best friend and right-hand woman as we chat through friendship lows and highs and how to meet people where they are + love them through hard seasons. We're sipping on a rosè cocktail with aperol, gin, rosè, citrus and a rose + orange blossom simple syrup. Needless to say, things get a little lit. You'll get the rarely told story of how I met my husband, the crazy ex-best friendship that brought Sam and me together, and a few other life lessons on loving yourself and finding balance in work and life. Alexis is another instagram friend that I'm bringing on to the podcast because we've built a friendship that I want to share with my listeners. She's a women's rights activist and uses art as self-care when she needs to release her inner child. She walks us through other forms of self-care for her that she turns to as a "solo" mom of 2 (she's married to the most wonderful husband who coaches college football) and as she's navigating politicial seasons. We're also diving into: Shadow work we've done How we've learned to face ourselves and find peace in our own company Five Minute Journaling What Alexis does to pursue "her favorite version of herself" (love that wording!!!) Losing friendships: the good, bad, and necessary How to get involved in your local elections and advocate for change Keep the conversation going with Alexis on instagram: @alexismvoss and @alexisvosscreations Let's stay in touch babes: Visit the website: www.rachelsymonegilliam.com Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, Pinterest: @rachelsymonegilliam Text DAILYRAE to 22999 for daily encouragement, affirmations, and motivation to live your best life on purpose Subscribe to the newsletter <3 Share feedback or say hello at hello@rachelsymone.com
This is such a fun and unique episode. I'm sitting down with Phoebe who is a plant educator, herbalist, and just overall woo woo babe which y'all know I LOVE. She is the co-founder of Fungtion, a functional mushroom wellness brand. Fungtion exists to create subtle transformations in people's lives through functional ingredients derived from earth. For a funny rabbit hole because Grace has been on the podcast a few times now, Phoebe is Fungtion's co-founder alongside George who is Grace's best friend's cousin. This episode is fun because I am coming out of the psychedilics closet and we are talking all about shroomies. We're diving into functional and medicinal mushrooms and then we answer some of my listener's questions about the ~fun mushroom. I took away so much from this conversation about listening to your body and allowing nature to heal you from the inside out. Grace needs NO introduction as I welcome her back to the podcast. This is a continuation of a conversation we had 3 years ago about consistency as our superpower. In today's episode we are catching all the way up and we're getting a very vulnerable and soft Grace. Her life looks nothing like it did the last time she was on the podcast and she's sharing her journey through the fire and how she's picked up the pieces of what tried to break her. The hardest truth from our convo: no one is going to save you, no one can do the work for you, the only way out is through. Let's get in. to. it. It's been a little too long since I caught you guys up on life and lessons its teaching me. In today's episode we're diving right in and chatting about the following topics: Acceptance that I cause most of the stress in my life by taking on too much + how I'm fixing it Getting out of the never ending cycle of burnout and recovery Keeping the conversation on balance going from episode 59 with Ciji from Balanced Not Busy Let's stay in touch babes: Visit the website: www.rachelsymonegilliam.com Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, Pinterest: @rachelsymonegilliam Text DAILYRAE to 22999 for daily encouragement, affirmations, and motivation to live your best life on purpose Subscribe to the newsletter <3 Share feedback or say hello at hello@rachelsymone.com
Season 3 is winding down, but I knew I could not close out this season without sitting down with my boo, Ciji. I call her the queen of balance + pivots and you'll see why on this podcast episode. I love Ciji because she keeps it real. Her life is her content and as she's navigating being a mom of 2, solo-parenting while her husband has business travel, or picking up Chick-fil-A dinner for the second (or third) time this week, she's bringing her Balanced Not Busy community along with her. In today's episode we are diving into: Not going into energy debt by giving more than you have What balance IS (pivoting + prioritizing) and what it is NOT (trying to do all the things and calling it balance) Club 40 - she's 40, fabulous, and sharing some key life learnings along the way Saying no isn't always an option, here's how to prioritize and accept life in its current state What it looks like to find comfortability in the chaos and how to be your own peace Keep the conversation going with Ciji: Follow her entire life on instagram: @balancednotbusy Listen to the Being Balanced Podcast Shoot her over an email: ciji@beingbalanced.com Let's stay in touch babes: Visit the website: www.rachelsymonegilliam.com Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, Pinterest: @rachelsymonegilliam Text DAILYRAE to 22999 for daily encouragement, affirmations, and motivation to live your best life on purpose Subscribe to the newsletter <3 Share feedback or say hello at hello@rachelsymone.com
In today's episode I'm discussing what it looks like to step out your comfort zone and into your purpose, what to expect every step of the way, and how we can only grow when we push ourselves. As y'all know, we have the most amazing guests and I'm lucky to call most of them close friends so I get to experience the behind the scenes of some of these conversations. I'm also walking you guys through a few episodes that I've recorded in the past where my friends stepped out of their comfort zone and into their purpose. 10/10 recommend you go back and listen to these episodes: Episode 24: Lindsay Ayers walks us through her move from Chicago to DC. Sis just celebrated 3 years in DC and her life would look so different if she had listened to the people who told her not to move. Episode 28: Fabi Powell risked it all for love and her story will change you. She met the love of her life while on a girls trip and then found out he had terminal cancer shortly after. She moved from California to Nashville for love and has spent the last 6 years honoring her late husband's legacy. Episode 30: Our exclusive interview with THE Dr. Colby Adolph as she walks us through her post-divorce move from Indiana and the beautiful life that she is building in a city that was made for her. And. So. Many. More. I got some brave ass friends. Love that for me. I can't explain it, but this is my favorite solo episode I've recorded to date. Cheers!!! Spoiler Alert: The secret to staying motivated is that there is no secret. I am just as unmotivated as the next girl on most days, the difference is that over the years I have been consistently developing the muscle of discipline. See, motivation gets you started, but it's discipline that keeps you going. Here's what we are diving into in today's episode: Cutting through the social media noise and misguided information about health and fitness Showing up for yourself even on days that you don't feel like it Starting small and focusing on consistency over intensity My workout program + a few life updates Let's stay in touch babes: Visit the website: www.rachelsymonegilliam.com Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, Pinterest: @rachelsymonegilliam Text DAILYRAE to 22999 for daily encouragement, affirmations, and motivation to live your best life on purpose Subscribe to the newsletter <3 Share feedback or say hello at hello@rachelsymone.com

I had chills this entire episode because I'm sitting down with someone who is changing the trajectory for families who want to build generational wealth but don't know where to start. Kendra Barnes, or The Key Resource, is on the podcast today and as she's sharing her real estate and early retirement wisdom, I'm thinking about all of you who will listen and take something away and how that will change your life and your family's life. I'm thinking about the THOUSANDS of people in her online community that she's helped purchase their first property and the seeds she's planted that will be growing for generations to come. I'm really proud of Kendra and the life she's building with her husband. Kendra is a full-time Real Estate Investor, founder of The Key Resource and author of ACRES. Her real estate investments afforded her the ability to retire from the 9-5 life at the age of 32. She created The Key Resource to inspire, empower and educate people about the power of home ownership and Real Estate investment. Her key message to anyone looking to buy a home or a rental property is: "You don't have to hit the lottery or be left an inheritance to buy property. You can start with what you have right now. You are worthy of wealth." Even if you feel like real estate or building wealth is not your thing, we also talk about her writing a book and having her daughter during the pandemic, how she's learning to celebrate her wins without being too hard on herself, prioritizing yourself even when there are a million and one things pulling at your attention and so much more. Pam is a TedTalk speaker, award-winning writer and poet, storyteller and connector. Today's episode is such a genuine catch up between me and a dear friend. Pam and I connected right at the heart of the pandemic through my Unapologetic Womanhood events. She is known as Unapologetically Pam and as soon as we connected, the sisterhood and synergy was undeniable. She was on season 2 of the podcast where we talked about living unapologetically, different forms of grief, and showing up truthfully. In today's episode we are building on that conversation and diving into: Living unapologetically and owning all of the parts of who you are Believing that you deserve good things and are worthy of love Releasing the people, places, and things that are no longer serving us Learning to say no with your whole chest Grieving our pandemic and post pandemic lives Pam is such a storyteller. She shares her healing journey so beautifully. You can listen to our season 2 episode here.
