A podcast for the community, made by students. Roughly Speaking is the collaborative result of a semester-long Civics class at Heyworth High School. With each new semester, the seniors at Heyworth High School tackle the the topic of "Political Game Changers."

In episode 49, the students introduce the 2024 Democratic and Republican Tickets for President and Vice President of the United States.
In the second episode of Season 2, the students dissect the goals of the US Government in the Preamble, quiz two community members on their Civics knowledge, and ask the teachers at Heyworth to get involved in reciting the Preamble. 
In the first episode of Season 2, the students dissect the origins of the Constitution, including a look at America's first system of government, the failed Articles of Confederation. The students also discuss the key compromises that came as a result of the Constitutional Convention. 
In episode 3, students discuss current national polls in order to predict who will win the 2020 election. Students also break down 2020 election survey data from registered voters in the community, as well as among both students and staff. 4 community members are also interviewed. 
In the second episode of Roughly Speaking, the students breakdown the Democratic ticket for POTUS, covering the topics of race, COVID-19, jobs & taxes, and finally, immigration.
