The guys talk in depth about the business of music and the things that bands can do to lower their costs and things that can be written off come tax time.

He dropped his debut EP "Nostalgic Unicorn" last year, and won the Ottawa instalment of Survival of the iLLest. What does 2014 have in the works? I'll let him tell you that himself.
Ottawa's DJ 2Creamz holds it down in the wee hours of Friday morning with The Mix at CKCU, and has held his own sharing stages with giants. With that in mind, Duke went over to CKCU & handed him the programming reigns for this week's episode.
He's a graphic designer by trade, but will make fans for you if you can convince him that you're dope. And it ain't hard to do; just be dope and get him to listen to your record. I decided to hand the programming reins partially over to Sage this week, seeing as he was in the building.
Tiny Danza scared everyone a little over two years ago- they changed their name, and disappeared from the scene to redefine themselves as a band and write new music. No one knew what was brewing. Now, they're back, and Jules and Gideon get to be the first to share some of their awesome new tunes.
Kingston is fast building a name for diverse and innovative Hip Hop artists. One such is Dan Steele, bka Dan Doesn't Sleep. After nearly 4 years of work in (and study of) the new rap game, he appears ready to slink in and surreptitiously steal some shine. All in a day's chilling.
While exploring Bandcamp, Gideon and Jules stumbled on a fantastic Toronto band called Hill Valley Lightning. With a sound that blends elements of rockabilly, surf, Britpop and country, they are poised to take 2014 by storm.
From Mississauga, this quartet encompasses the duo "DnA," who recently found themselves famous for a great little video called "The Kids Get Around." These guys bring dope dope lyricism to a mix of live instrumentation and classic Hip Hop sounds, to great and funky effect.

Dollaz da Deejay has come further in recent years than most, pulling himself up by purely theoretical bootstraps to become an award-winning emcee - or in the parlance of his country of origin, deejay. A penchant for uplifting lyrics over inspiring beats, along with tireless output, has won him a measure of the respect due. More to come though, as he is just getting warmed up.
Gideon and Jules sat down with Dan Mike and Kevin of Toronto's South of Bloor, and caught a a great chat and acoustic session. The guys have existed since 2010, and kicked off the new year with their long awaited debut EP, The Street. A belated Happy New Year is better than none. For Episode 60, Duke spins some new music from old friends, as well as a handful of tracks you might have missed in 2013. Required listening for anybody on the east side of the country with taste.
