On May 4, 1970, four unarmed college students at Kent State University were murdered by the Ohio National Guard during a peaceful protest of the United States' illegal invasion of Cambodia. Nine other students were wounded, as twenty-eight National Guard soldiers fired approximately 67 rounds in a brazen act of state violence against citizens assembling peaceably. Michael Moore announced today that he is releasing a brand new documentary film and is offering it as a gift, free of charge, in the midst of the global pandemic. Planet of the Humans, a documentary that dares to say what no one else will this Earth Day — that we are losing the battle to stop climate change on planet earth because we are following leaders who have taken us down the wrong road — selling out the green movement to wealthy interests and corporate America. This film is the wake-up call to the reality we are afraid to face: that in the midst of a human-caused extinction event, the environmental movement’s answer is to push for techno-fixes and band-aids. It's too little, too late. On this special episode of RUMBLE, Michael is joined by the director of the film, Jeff Gibbs, and producer Ozzie Zehner. When Michael Moore made the Oscar-nominated film SiCKO about America's health care system, Wendell Potter was a Vice President and "chief propagandist" at health insurance giant Cigna. He and his colleagues devised a plan to "push Michael Moore off a cliff" due to fear that the film would expose the corruption of their industry. Potter's role was to fly to Michigan, infiltrate the premiere of the film, and and spy on and discredit Moore. Not long after watching the film, Potter experienced a crisis of conscience and could no longer continue lying on behalf of America's health insurers. He became a whistleblower, spilled the beans about how his former business operates and is now a vocal advocate for a true, government-backed, universal health care system in America. He joins Michael to recount their bizarre first meeting, expose the lie that Americans love their private health insurance and figure out health care in America post-coronavirus pandemic. *********** Watch Michael Moore's 2007 classic SiCKO here: https://youtu.be/YbEQ7acb0IE or here: https://vimeo.com/76646445 *********** Read Wendell Potter's books! Michael is joined by one of the great satirists of our time, cartoonist Dan Perkins. Under the pseudonym Tom Tomorrow, Perkins created a strip called This Modern World which has ridiculed the corporate, political and media power structures for almost 30 years. Michael Moore addresses the end of Bernie Sanders' presidential campaign and invites you to look into the future - a future which has been created because of the battles fought, the progress made and the movements ignited by his candidacy. America has changed, and the majority of us will not want a return to what the owners call “normal,” to the ways of the past. Bernie showed everyone a different way, and that way will be our future very soon. *********** Music Credit: "Everybody Knows" - Leonard Cohen https://music.apple.com/us/album/everybody-knows/192677178?i=192678729 --- Send in a voice message: https://anchor.fm/rumble-with-michael-moore/message

MM...Happy belated birthday first of all....wish you to have many many more... i just saw planet of humans.... its a great documentary but i got to say...i am tired of problems being pointed out without giving a real and feasible solution(s).....this happens almost in every aspect of our lives....be it political, social, environmental and so forth..., it all comes down to the existence of humans....inside it there is industrialization, globalization, corporate greed... but what is the solution...another world war to wipe of the human race...going back to primitive way of life....what is it...pointing out a problem is well and good but what can be done??? i sure dont have or know one..... i hope this doesn't make me look like i am against you or on the other side, i am a big fan and i agree with 99.9% of your ideas..... but i think solutions should and must be pointed as well when we shade light to these issues....

Bernie. Nice guy, great policies, terrible primary campaigner. let the establishment off. He should have Trumped them the way Trump did to establishment republicans in primaries in 2016. It pays and is a moral duty to play hardball to win the good fight. Biden is not and will not be his friend or a good guy.

He also defunded the pandemic department back in 2017. What I noticed since he became president is he defunds and cuts budgets in departments. Then over time they don’t fill the government jobs for those departments and phase out the positions. It never hits the news that way. They called Nixon ‘Tricky Dick’ I think Trump is worse. But there is no word to call him

Healthcare is a right. It is ridiculous and ludicrous that in the US, we provide a free education through high school but if our child gets cancer we do not provide free healthcare to save their life! What society would ever prioritize the needs of it's people this way.
