Description

Run That Back is a sports talk show with a dash of comedy. Correspondents from across the region and around the world will join us to talk about their favorite teams, special sports events, and personal histories. Mostly, we will find guidance from the words of that great sports philosopher Rasheed Wallace: “Both teams played hard.” This is indie sports radio.

This is the last show of Run That Back! Joining us is our old friends Sarah Spooner, Josh Batenhorst, Tim Jackson, and our very first guest Phillip Chester. We'll talk about sports headlines and look back on 12 years of Run That Back and Steve Sax Syndrome.
Our penultimate show! We continue to celebrate 12 years of bringing you indie sports radio as we welcome back some of our favorite guests. This time, it's Kim & Nathanael Roney, Rod Murphy, and Bob Clausen with baseball, basketball, and hockey talk as well as more of our guests' favorite Run That Back/Steve Sax Syndrome moments.
A few more shows left for Run That Back and we're trying to feature as many of our favorite guests before we're done. If you've ever listened to Gerry Leonard on Run That Back, you know that Tom and Scott clear the lane and let Gerry cook as much as possible. This week, we talk about his beloved Liverpool clinching the Premier League title, the Champions League final, NBA playoffs, NBA lottery - you name it!
As we work towards the conclusion of Run That Back, we bring you another packed show! Two New York Mets fans join us: writer/producer of The Simpsons Michael Price and filmmaker Nick Davis! They discuss current projects, including the baseball-centric Simpsons episode from a few weeks ago. Matt Pogatshnik will open the show, talking about the current Formula One season. Plus, a report on the Run That Back theater outing to see King James at North Carolina Stage Company!
As we move closer to Run That Back's final show, this week, we recognize 12 years of being on the air with two of our favorite recurring guests. Charlie Flynn-McIver will talk about the play he is directing for North Carolina Stage Company called King James about how the friendship between two men is defined by their fandom for LeBron James. Also, Sarah Spooner joins us to talk about the NFSL Draft and her favorite sports as well as Run That Back/Steve Sax Syndrome moments from the past 12 years.
