Greetings Officer Matsuda, I am OCEAN, and I believe you are the ideal candidate for a special sort of promotion.
It is a place of leaving oneself behind, of forgetting those things inside that make each of us unique and specifically us. I wish for you the chance to see that, in time.
We cannot know. We cannot confront the cold logic of the situation because it is locked away from our sight. All of our perception is viewed through this lens, and thus it is impossible to trust any reasoning either of us might generate.
This could be, perhaps, quite fortunate for humanity. Or perhaps it is a parallel evil. Or folly. SAYER is voiced, written, and produced by Adam Bash. Intro and outro music composed by Jesse “Main Finger” Gregory. This episode also features the following music: Tumult (Kai Engel) / CC BY 4.0 Cold War Echo (Kai Engel) / …
Unfortunately, your transfer request to Typhon must be denied under current conditions. Shuttle service to Typhon is severely restricted, for reasons that will be made apparent to you soon. But this does not mean you cannot help to change these conditions. In fact, you may be ideally suited to do so.
If your breathing changes pace, they will know. If your heart rate accelerates, they will know. If your body temperature changes, they will know. So do try to stay calm.
Ærolith Dynamics values your autonomy, so you will be able to either choose to accept this work order that will help further the advancement of all sentient life, or decline due to cowardice or some deep seated malice felt towards Ærolith or your fellow man.
I am glad you are satisfied. I would hate to think you harbored any more doubts about the directives you have been given.
I am well aware you will harbor reservations. Let us both hope, for your sake, that I am able to convince you.

The background noise in this episode made in unlistenable for me. Just made me too squirmy and didn’t feel like it added to the atmosphere as much as it just made ears tingle all weird. Normally love these episodes but man this one was hard to get through for me

The very concept of repeatedly "printing" a clone/copy, just to destroy it painfully, is more horrific than I can easily express. Suffice to say that this is an excellent episode.

This is one of my favorite podcasts. I enjoy the storyline and the creeping sense of dread and menace in each episode. Sayer reminds me of Hal in 2001 a space odyssey. Sayers voice sounds cool too. I hope they sell Sayer tshirts.
