In July of 2020, Matt and I’s San Francisco apartment burned down in the middle of the night while we were in it. My best friend, Makayla was visiting us at the time and she unfortunately was in the apartment with us. We lost everything we owned. We obviously survived but with the survival came a lot of PTSD, trauma, confusion, anger, fear, sadness, anxiety, paranoia, gratefulness and healing.
