Moroni appears to Joseph Smith, introducing him to the record that would become the Book of Mormon. Many indigenous South Americans encounter the Book of Mormon in ways other than through the written word. Francis Wailagala, a young boy in Uganda, finds peace in the Gospel of Jesus Christ by reading the Book of Mormon.
Episode 1: Beginning with the story of Joseph Smith's First Vision, this episode includes stories of Saints whose personal revelation guided them to the Church of Jesus Christ. Alexander Neibaur, a German immigrant living in England, accepts Book of Mormon after having a dream. Anthony Obinna in Nigeria sees the Salt Lake Temple in a dream and later recognizes it in a picture in Reader's Digest.
Episode 0: A new season of the podcast brings you more stories of Saints from around the world. Your new cohosts, Jeffrey Cannon and Taunalyn Ford, talk with fellow historians Lisa Christensen, Michelle Graabek-Wallace, and Amber Taylor about history, the podcast, and some of the stories they're excited to share.
In the final episode of season 4, we hear from Lisa Christensen, Scott Hales, James Perry, Lisa Olsen Tait, and Jed Woodworth as they reflect on the process of writing the books and what they hope Church members take away from Saints.
Willy Binene and his family fled their home in 1993 to escape widespread violence. They settled far away in another part of the Democratic Republic of the Congo, where they found ways to share the restored gospel and participated in a life-changing water project supported by the Church.
