In this video join Dave Phare & friends in activating the light of the Holy Spirit within. Dave reminds us of the purpose of A Course In Miracles and the experience it is pointing to which is gained through the application of its principles and workbook lessons that are designed to train the mind in a different way of seeing, bringing all forms of fear to light in order to have our mind changed so our relationship to everyone and everything is wholly loving and reflects our true nature.Dave stresses the importance of being alert to any upset and the temptation to minimize it. We must recognize we ARE upset if we're not wholly at peace and allow any form of fear to rise in our awareness where it can be undone if we are still and don't adjust by seeking some form of distraction or solution in the world. We are reminded that everything we see is a symbolic representation of our relationship with God and all fear under whatever guise we have projected it onto, is fear of God.Dave talks about the honeymoon period which can often occur with students new to using A Course In Miracles where everything can seem to be rosey and bright for a moment, like the student is being held a moment in a cocoon of grace as they begin to see a new. Like all things of time, the honeymoon phase shall pass and the rollercoaster ride may look a bit like the house of horrors for a moment until many miracle have been experienced and vigilance for the kingdom becomes prevalent. He stresses the impossibility of valuing anything in the world, what is judged as good, bad or ugly without experiencing it's flip side.The miracle takes us outside of that thought system entirely where true peace and joy abides. He also explains the condition of the mind in forgetting and using the forgetting to help us remember better. Dave also gives vignettes of personal miracles he has experienced throughout his transformation of mind, including being healed of cancer upon the invitation of a brother declaring, "he had no use for it", recognizing it served no purpose. He Has Risen! And an even more powerful follow-up to that statement, "The concepts are useful for a moment because they give meaning to the principles (and) The principles are only useful if you apply them. So much so I forgot to press record so all that's preserved is the second half of this very engaging and profitable conversation with Dear One.Lesson 17 spawned a deep teaching and beautiful interaction.*ACIM WB Lesson 17 *I see no neutral things.This idea is another step in the direction of identifying cause and effect as it really operates in the world. ²You see no neutral things because you have no neutral thoughts. ³It is always the thought that comes first, despite the temptation to believe that it is the other way around. ⁴This is not the way the world thinks, but you must learn that it is the way you think. ⁵If it were not so, perception would have no cause, and would itself be the cause of reality. ⁶In view of its highly variable nature, this is hardly likely. 2. In applying today’s idea, say to yourself, with eyes open: ²I see no neutral things because I have no neutral thoughts. ³Then look about you, resting your glance on each thing you note long enough to say: ⁴I do not see a neutral _____, because my thoughts about _________ are not neutral. ⁵For example, you might say: ⁶I do not see a neutral wall, because my thoughts about walls are not neutral. ⁷I do not see a neutral body, because my thoughts about bodies are not neutral. 3. As usual, it is essential to make no distinctions between what you believe to be animate or inanimate; pleasant or unpleasant. ²Regardless of what you may believe, you do not see anything that is really alive or really joyous. ³That is because you are unaware as yet of any thought that is really true, and therefore really happy. 4. Child of God, you were created to create the good, the beautiful and the holy. ²Do not forget this. ³The Love of God, for a little while, must still be expressed through one body to another, because vision is still so dim. ⁴You can use your body best to help you enlarge your perception so you can achieve real vision, of which the physical eye is incapable. ⁵Learning to do this is the body’s only true usefulness. The Final Satsang. It's Over. In fact, this could very well be "The Final Satsang" needed.During this joining Dear One not only encouraged in us the realization of the oneness and immediacy of The Christ; he declared it, and a palpable fire was lit in everyone in participation. And while not a terribly long joining, it was, however, incredibly impactful and resolute. Such that being hit with the certainty and conviction that the "search is over!" left a lingering sense of revelation and liberation and a promise of Truth and only the Truth as the reality of our being. *ACIM C-ep.1:1–5:6 *Clarification of Terms *Epilogue Forget not once this journey is begun the end is certain. ²Doubt along the way will come and go and go to come again. ³Yet is the ending sure. ⁴No one can fail to do what God appointed him to do. ⁵When you forget, remember that you walk with Him and with His Word upon your heart. ⁶Who could despair when hope like this is his? ⁷Illusions of despair may seem to come, but learn how not to be deceived by them. ⁸Behind each one there is reality and there is God. ⁹Why would you wait for this and trade it for illusions, when His Love is but an instant farther on the road where all illusions end? ¹⁰The end _is_ sure and guaranteed by God. ¹¹Who stands before a lifeless image when a step away the Holy of the Holies opens up an ancient door that leads beyond the world?2.
