In this special interview, Dave speaks with Brendan Bradley, creator of the animated short film, Baby X, a 2016 animated adaptation of the 1978 short story written by Lois Gould. Now, after the success of Baby X, Brendan has a new animated film that just arrived this week titled Baby S, featuring animation by Rodrigo Diaz Ricci (whose other work you can find here) and a voice cast that includes Yuri Lowenthal, Tara Platt, Ashley Clements, America Young, Kirsten Vangsness, Hunter Davis and Brendan himself. The sound of the short films comes courtesy of composer Elon Arbiture along with Erik Scott Smith as the team’s sound engineer.-Support the Show through Patreon: www.patreon.com/saturdaymourningcartoons- Want to find our cohosts online?Dave TrumboreWrites for Collider.com Twitter @drclawmdBuy the book The Science of Breaking Bad - https://mitpress.mit.edu/books/science-breaking-badSean Paul EllisIG and twitter @seanpaulellisPerformer at Washington Improv Theater where you can find tickets and times.  If you are digging our show and want to help you out, then you can do so in the following ways:1. Dave flies solo (while Sean is in his dormant gem state) to review the Cartoon Network special 'Steven Universe: The Movie.' What new threat has put Beach City in peril? How will a new villain's arrival impact Steven Universe and the Crystal Gems? Is the musical movie worth watching at all? Dave gets to chat with BoJack Horseman creator and showrunner Raphael Bob-Waksberg about the Emmy-nominated episode "Free Churro." Joining the conversation are the show’s supervising director Michael Hollingsworth, and this episode’s director Amy Winfrey. Much of the conversation revolved around the Emmy-nominated episode, how it came together, Will Arnett’s performance in it, and the particular problems that arise in trying to animate what’s essentially a 25-minute one-shot.-Support the Show through Patreon-Want to find our cohosts online?Dave TrumboreWrites for Collider.com Twitter @drclawmdBuy the book The Science of Breaking Bad - https://mitpress.mit.edu/books/science-breaking-badSean Paul EllisIG and twitter @seanpaulellisPerformer at Washington Improv Theater where you can find tickets and times.  If you are digging our show and want to help you out, then you can do so in the following ways:1.
