Intentions when dating… how do you know when someone isn’t serious?
It is important to start with your intention/objective. What do you want?
1 Peter 3:17 In relationships we often have to suffer/die unto ourselves/WWJD/and give up our pride to be like Christ.
God wants to be first in our lives. Do you share your day with God! Is He the first that you vent to? Do you spend time listening to Him daily? I challenge you to create a space in your day to talk Ana listen to God. Deuteronomy 31:8 The LORD himself goes before you and will be with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged.”
The Merriweather girls are back discussing rejection. How do you deal with rejection? Dating as a Christian, we are faced with it a lot. Having been morbidly obese brought its own form of rejections. Join us for the conversation.
Too often we give others the bullets, gun, tell them how to load, and where to target. We are discussing being cautious telling someone information they can use against you.
What’s next? What to do once cheating is being revealed. How can we or should we continue?
Cheating has so many repercussions that affect the cheater and victims such as the person being cheated on, family, kids, etc. Recovering and healing takes at least a year and intentionally therapy. The scars that are sure to come can heal but it won’t be easy.
Trina, Karen, and I discuss things that we have learned while dating and how our relationship with God has changed.
My sisters and I discuss prenuptial agreements. What needs to be put out on the table before you say, “I do.” Prenuptial agreements are agreements made before you say yes. It doesn’t have to be a contract for just in case you get divorced but how we will address conflicts and issues.
