How do we as Parents filter content on their phones without being a helicopter parent Things to look out for: spending too much time on social media (maybe even addiction), bullying, becoming anti-social in real life, depression or anxiety, connecting with strangers, and sharing information, pictures, or videos with strangers. Child trafficking often starts on social media. Specific dangers on specific platforms. How to combat the bad stuff: Use parental control software like Bark- Bark’s parental controls let you block apps & websites and create screen time schedules to help keep your kids safe. You can also monitor social media, texts messages, and apps for dangers like bullying, depression, predators, and more. Keep accounts private and set up as many privacy and safety things as possible.
