This week we’re talking about a true crime story out of Charlotte, North Carolina. The Loomis Fargo heist was one of the biggest robberies in the history of the nation, with around $17 million dollars being stolen in total. Another interesting fact - all of this went down where we used to live (we’re both originally from North Carolina, Gaston County in fact, which is where a lot of this went down). Crystal’s mom even worked with one of the main mastermind’s sisters in a textile mill at the time - and we have a funny little note about that in the story.
