Mariyah is a PhD student in the School of English working on the poetry of William Wordsworth and Samuel Taylor Coleridge. She also works full time at the British Psychological Society as a Partnership and Accreditation Officer. An avid reader and a fan of nature, she loves hiking in the Peak District and the Lake District, contemporary art and baking.
Lisa Holloway is a student on the MA English Studies (Online) programme. Lisa lives in West Yorkshire with her husband (a police officer) and two children, Erin and Finley. Lisa is a secondary school English teacher in an 11-18 school, and she leads on GCSE English Literature and whole-school literacy. She is an avid reader of fiction, particularly dystopian, Booker/Pulitzer Prize winners, and anything with a feminist angle, but she is open to anything! She enjoys Medieval literature but her eyes are being opened to many other interesting topics on the MA English (Online) programme!
