With a company name like Giga Cloud Technologies, one could guess their core business and possibly assign an incorrect esrnings multiple to this fast (relative to its actual business lines) grower. Is this misnomer smart marketing or something different?
I am always interested when share repurchases are discussed in hearing how many market shares are actually reduced vs. what is recycled via shareholder value to stock based compensation by companies. Yet this is often not covered by reporters. Why? Perhaps it is taboo and would diminish executive eagerness to fill your time with dialogue? To me this is a vital part of accessing management mentality on shareholders and a 5 second blurb giving this info on each repurchase chat would enhance value
