While on our weekly 8 mile walk a woman asked how does he keep busy the entire time? We have been doing between 6-10 miles 2-3x a week since April on our favorite nature trail. It’s pretty quiet during the week and I let him play at the small playground when we finish our walk. But I thought I would share a few ideas on how I keep him busy. Since we do walk it often and he’s an only child he’s pretty good at entertaining himself but here are a few other ideas to entertain kiddos when they get restless on long walks. We do a hybrid model of stroller and walking for him. ⁣ I share the 13 tips I incorporate wit Jalen while out in nature! Mindful Practices for the modern mama  Being more mindful in our lives has become such an important and needed area in mamas lives the last few years. We have more things to consume through media now than ever before, our smartphones are computers that we carry with us all day long and can use so mindlessly. Standing in line at the grocery store and all of a sudden your scrolling Instagram 🙋🏼‍♀️ how the heck did that happen! www.seasonallivingmamas.com Instagram- www.instagram.com/seasonallivingmamas Free 5 Day Ayurveda for Modern Mamas https://seasonallivingmamas.com/5-day-ayurveda-for-modern-mama
How does Ayurveda approach self-care? In Ayurveda, they want you to make time for yourself each day. That is why self-care is so important, especially in the fast pace environment we are living now. Slowing down to get in tune with our bodies & our minds is one of the staples of Ayurveda. Most people go so fast and don’t want to slow down to notice how they are truly feeling. Ayurveda is really geared to help you become more in-tune with you. Jenn Collins- What is going to fill you up? by Andrea Claassen
I am a mama of two beautiful little girls and wife to a very hard working hubby. After working in corporate America and a non-profit, I decided it was time to make my dreams a reality. Having two kiddos and two cesarean sections at that, I understand the healing process of going through birth and the necessity for Postpartum recovery. I have a heart for mamas and their postpartum recovery needs to support them in being their best to care for their babies.
