So the Big West Final was record setting, just not for us. The 92-64 loss was thought to be the final games of Kyle Allman Jr. and Khalil Ahmad, ending one of the most successful runs in CSUF basketball history. However fate has other plans. The Titans season will continue on as they take on the CSU Bakersfield Roadrunners in the College Insider Tournament. Join Jason and Ross as we break down this upcoming game.
Jason and Nathan give a quick preview for the first game of the day!
The moment we all have been waiting for all season long, the Big West Tournament. Once a team is seeded, everything else seems to go out the window. The wins, losses, triumphs, or struggles they have accumulated over the season no longer matters. All that does matter now is whether they can win three more games in a row to earn a golden ticket to the big dance. Although for the Titans of Orange County these days, three wins in a row seems like a daunting task as they have struggled to even win a game in the last couple of weeks. They go in to Honda Center with the task to avenge a late season loss to UC Davis and get a chance to play another day on Friday. This could very well be the last time we see Kyle Allman Jr. and Khalil Ahmad in a Titan uniform, officially marking the end on a prosperous era in Titan Basketball. Although the hosts on this show don’t think that the bell has tolled for our team quite yet. Join Jason, Ross, and Nathan as we break down the Big West Tournament and what to expect for the Titans tomorrow.
