We will talk about allowing our body to lead our business, honoring our energetic capacity, having more impact with less stress and time, and ways to make running your business sustainable and fun for you as a highly sensitive, neurodivergent person. Ep. 39: Why Trauma-Informed Spaces Can Create More Shame with Katja Markelova

In this conversation with Katja Markelova, we explore the surprising ways that many “trauma-informed” spaces can unintentionally create more shame, fear, and disempowerment. From the myth of “safe spaces,” to the culture of hypervigilance and endless rules, we unpack how these dynamics can leave people feeling fragile and infantilized rather than free and empowered. Together, we explore: Why hypervigilance in trauma-informed spaces often increases shame and fear What to create instead of a so-called “safe space” How to honor real struggles with agency without disempowering people Signs that a community is shame-centric (and how to spot them) What it actually means to hold a non-dogmatic space Katja’s one guiding rule for her containers — and why it matters How all of this connects to cancel culture, difference, and staying in relationship This is a rich, provocative conversation for anyone craving community and leadership that fosters true capacity, agency, and connection — not more fear. Katja Markelova is a seasoned practitioner, educator and creator of the Tales of Bodyverse platform and the professional training Imaginal Body where she teaches human condition through resonance and field dynamics. Trained extensively in somatic trauma resolution, quantum fields, and folklore as somatic maps, Katja developed the "Felt Imaginal Architectural Construction" method - a process that naturally dissolves even most sticky and heavy patterns while building capacity for Effortless, Effective, and Efficient Life Artistry, opening pathways to equanimity and previously unavailable alternatives. Ep. 38: Authentic Visibility That Feels Safe and Sustainable for HSP & ND Entrepreneurs

For HSP and ND entrepreneurs, visibility is often one of the tenderest parts of business. You’ve built offers you believe in. You’ve worked with clients you love. And still, showing up can feel like too much — or not enough. Maybe you overthink every word before hitting “publish.” Maybe you’ve been quiet because showing up feels like a performance. Or maybe you post often but keep your real perspective, artistry, or quirks off the table — hiding in plain sight. If that sounds familiar, you’re not broken. Your nervous system is simply protecting you. In this episode, we’ll explore: -Why visibility often feels wobbly (and why it’s not about mindset). -The difference between performing and authentic expression. -What “hiding in plain sight” looks like. -The ripple effects of safe visibility. -A short reflection to notice your body’s response to being seen. We’ll also talk about The Visibility Lab — a 4-week guided experiment designed to help you practice visibility in ways that feel safe, light, and playful. Through short audios, playful prompts, and a private space where you can safely practice sharing your opinions, posts, and artistry — without the pressure of performance — before bringing it into the wider world, you’ll build the body-memory that says: “I can share, and I’m okay.”   ✨ Enrollment is open now for $75, and your spot includes a free invitation for a biz bestie. We begin October 6th. 👉 Learn more and join here: https://www.kimkimballcoaching.com/visibility-lab-for-sensitive-entrepreneurs Resources & Links: Join The Visibility Lab Instagram Website: kimkimballcoaching.com

Ep. 36: The Hidden Reasons Your Business Feels Unsustainable as a Sensitive or Neurocomplex Entrepreneur

Episode 36: The Hidden Reasons Your Business Feels Unsustainable as a Sensitive or Neurodivergent Entrepreneur If you’re a highly sensitive or neurodivergent business owner, chances are your business might look like it’s “working” from the outside — but doesn’t always feel that way from the inside. In this solo episode, I walk you through the two most common reasons why your business might feel unsustainable, even if it’s technically successful: ✨ You’re building without your blueprint — following someone else’s formula, without honoring your energy, capacity, sensory needs, or actual desires ✨ You’ve been pushing through resistance instead of learning to partner with yourself — leaving you in a cycle of burnout, shame, or self-doubt These are the foundational areas we work with inside The Sustainable Growth Sanctuary, and I’m sharing more about how addressing them can transform your business from something you’re surviving... into something that supports you. You’ll hear: Why common business strategies backfire for HSPs and ND entrepreneurs What “working with your blueprint” really means (and why it matters) The cost of forcing yourself through fear, shame, and visibility wounds How your business can start giving you energy — instead of draining it Why deep community and nervous-system-safe growth matter If you’ve been craving a new way of doing business — one rooted in your truth, your pacing, and your lived experience — this is for you. Ep. 35: Effortless, Efficient, + Effective Business with Katja Markelova

In this expansive episode, I’m joined by Katja Markelova — practitioner, guide, and multidimensional thinker whose work weaves together the morphogenic, ancestral, archetypal, and vibrational fields. Katja shares how she sees business not as a structure to force yourself into, but as a living field to attune to. We explore how the felt sense can guide us into clarity, what happens when we untangle unseen threads like projection and misalignment, and why she doesn’t believe in “blocks” — only deeper patterns wanting to be met. She also speaks to the liberating impact of leaving Instagram, choosing Telegram as her space of expression, and how marketing becomes effortless when it flows from coherence rather than strategy. In this conversation, we explore: • What it means to work within vibrational and mythic fields • The role of projection in business outcomes — and how to dissolve it • Why “blocks” may be a misdiagnosis of something more intelligent • Untangling as a way into new timelines and possibilities • How the felt sense can reveal what’s really going on beneath resistance • Horizontal leadership, client friendship, and dissolving hierarchy • Bringing your wild, whole self into business and marketing This is a rich conversation for anyone drawn to a deeper, more multidimensional experience of entrepreneurship — especially if you’ve never quite resonated with surface-level strategy. 📌 Learn more about Katja’s work: Katja's Telegram Channel Katja's Free Course, Oracle Body   🎧 Listen now and subscribe to Sensitive to explore more conversations for sensitive and neurodivergent business owners.   Get Involved: 1:1 Sustainable Growth Private Coaching: a personalized container for sensitive entrepreneurs ready to grow with clarity, calm, and nervous system support. Ep 30: The Hidden Link Discovery for HSP + Neurodivergent Leaders with Michelle Dowker

What if the key to thriving as a sensitive or neurodivergent entrepreneur wasn’t more mindset work — but a recalibration of your nervous system itself? In this profound episode of The Sensitive. Podcast, I sit down with Michelle Dowker — naturopathic doctor, research lover, and breakthrough thinker in the world of subconscious healing for sensitive leaders. Michelle shares her discovery around differential susceptibility — a trait common in HSP and ND folks that can either keep them stuck in survival or launch them into thriving, depending on the environment and internal calibration. We explore: The neuroscience behind survival mode (RAS, DMN & unconscious programming) Why even supportive environments may not be enough to help you thrive What “calibrating for success” looks like in real life How flow state differs for sensitive, neurodivergent brains The critical role HSPs/NDs play in what Michelle calls “the 4th Turning” This conversation is both science-backed and soul-nourishing — and a must-listen for any sensitive business owner wondering why things still feel hard… and how to make them feel lighter.   Michelle Dowker works with sensitive, deep-thinking, high-performing entrepreneurs and professionals who’ve evolved—and want their work to evolve with them. Through her signature Vantage Success Method, she guides clients from deep clarity on who they truly are and what’s next, to rewiring old survival conditioning, and stepping into purpose-led mastery that feels fulfilling, liberating, and wildly impactful. Madison and I reconnect after our shared experience in her Rising Sovereign mastermind — a space where neither of us yet knew we were autistic. Ep 25: Self-Leadership for Sensitive Entrepreneurs: Redefining Success with Alexandra Covucci

In this episode of Sensitive., I sit down with someone I deeply admire and have quietly followed for years: Alexandra Covucci, a leadership coach who not only teaches transformation, but embodies it. Whether she’s taking a sabbatical from social media to re-root in inner stillness, or leaning gently into the work of intimacy and self-trust, Alex lives what she teaches. Her leadership is not performative — it’s devotional. And in this conversation, we explore what it really means to lead ourselves first. We talk about: How Alex defines leadership (and why it starts within) The most pivotal moments in her own growth as a business owner What high-capacity, highly sensitive leaders struggle with most The truth about self-partnering as the foundation of self-leadership Why strategy alone won’t save you — and how to come home to yourself instead The quiet patterns that hold so many brilliant leaders back How to redefine success so it actually feels like success This one is for the big-hearted leaders, the deep feelers, the sensitive visionaries. The ones walking their talk — even when no one’s watching. 🌿 Learn more about Alex and her work:  Alexandra is a leadership and embodiment coach who helps ambitious, high-capacity individuals succeed without self-abandonment. With over a decade of experience in leadership coaching and nervous system work, she supports leaders in building unshakable self-trust, communicating with clarity, turning emotional and energetic obstacles into fuel for their fullest potential, and creating sustainable success from the inside out. Ep 24: Non-Toxic Goal Setting for HSP & Neurodivergent Business Owners with Sara Lobkovich

In today’s episode, I’m joined by the brilliant Sara Lobkovich for a conversation about setting goals that actually support your capacity, not override it. Sara is a coach and strategist who speaks candidly about being twice exceptional, having a trauma-impacted brain, and building a business as a deeply introverted human. Together, we explore: What “non-toxic” goal-setting really means How intrinsic, “selfish” goals lead to deeper alignment Why this approach is especially supportive for neurodivergent business owners How to shift from achievement obsession to growth and progress The power of coherence over consistency A step-by-step way to set shame-free goals rooted in who you are The connection between non-toxic productivity and nervous system-informed work This conversation is full of practical insights and gentle reframes for anyone who’s ever felt like traditional goal-setting just... doesn’t fit.   Sara is a strategist, Objectives and Key Results (OKRs) Master Coach, and Nationally Board-Certified Health and Wellness Coach (NBC-HWC) who works with purpose-led organizations and people whose identity, cognitive style, or values put them at odds with mainstream business culture. I help people and teams shift strategy from overwhelming to achievable so they can learn their way to achieving their big, bold goals.   Sara's Links: -Buy her Book:https://youarestrategist.com -Join her next live intensive: Strategy During Chaos: https://findrc.co/3RkYOHK -Connect via LinkedIn: https://linkedin.com/in/saralobkovich -She is @saralobkovich on most social media platforms.   If you found this podcast helpful, please give it a 5 star reveiw and share it with others who might benefit so we can help more HSP and neurodivergent business owners thrive! Ep. 22: The Hidden Reason You're Finding It Difficult to Build a Sustainable Business as a HSP

Almost every single one of my clients and business owners that I talk to want to be able to have a sustainable business: to be able to run their business in a way that honors their body, their capacity, their season of life, the way their brain functions best, and the amount of time they have. They want their business to be stable, reliable, and financially successful-without compromising their wellbeing or their leisure time. And while most folks have a deep desire for a sustainable business, they often dismiss it as a pipe dream if they are highly sensitive or neurodivergent. In this solo episode of the Sensitive. Podcast I discuss: -the hidden reason building a sustainable business may feel out of reach for you as a HSP or neurodivergent business owner -I give a personal example in my own business that helped me to shift out of this and into honoring my sensitivity, capacity, and season of life in my business -what I think the most important work for us is as HSP or neurodivergent business owners in order to build a sustainable business -why HSP and neurodivergent business owners may miss opportunities to do things differently and more sustainably in their business Let’s be real—most of what’s out there about running a business was not designed for HSPs or neurodivergent entrepreneurs. The push harder, do more, override your body approach? It doesn’t work for us. But that doesn’t mean you can’t have a successful, thriving business. It just means you need to build it in a way that actually works for your unique wiring. Inside my 1:1 coaching, I help my clients: ✅ Set boundaries and say no without spiraling into guilt. ✅ Create financial stability without sacrificing their well-being. ✅ Move through fear of rejection so they can finally show up fully. ✅ Get out of urgency and overthinking, and into ease and clarity. ✅ Take real, aligned action without slipping into burnout or endless inner work loops. If this is the shift you’ve been craving, I have three 1:1 coaching spots open right now. Click the link to learn more and apply, and let’s see if this is the right fit for you.
