Description

The mission of the Sentenced to Life podcast is to illustrate how trauma plays a role in the development of PTSD and the many ailments trauma survivors suffer from, including self-injury, drug addiction, eating disorders, which can ultimately lead to suicide, and that are taking place in large numbers around the globe. As a society we are scrambling to figure out what fuels these behaviors and through this podcast, Aliamo and LaHood, will shed light on these misunderstood issues and create a dialog in order to help change the way we conceptualize and treat trauma. The Sentenced to Life podcast is created with the intent to allow trauma survivors to feel less alone in their lived human experiences and to educate those who care for them.
