Recorded in Sweeney's bedroom (in person!), Sweeney and Dan chat about local Seddon "banter" and zoom relationships, Dan gives us an update on his anti-populist campaign for UMSU president, and Sweeney lets Dan smell his sandalwood.
This is the last episode for the season. We'll be back in a few weeks!
In potentially the last COVID-induced Zoom episode, Sweeney and Dan discuss Melbourne's eased restrictions, hear from some disgruntled listeners on talkback, and defame mega-conglomerate Wesfarmers (owner of Coles, Bunnings, Target and Officeworks).
But rest assured, they also talk about sausages.
2 weeks out from the US Election, Sweeney and Dan head to the open lines and take some callback, hearing from a conservative local council candidate, a mild-mannered Kiwi, and a world-famous epidemiologist.
Later, they defame tech-giant Apple, and tackle the week's wackiest headlines in Current Affairs.
Ooh yeah.
10 episodes baby. If we only released one episode a year, we'd have been making these for a decade. This is not the case though.
Anyway, new theme song, same segments: legal defamation (Crown Casino) and current affairs (naughty recycling and sexy vegetables).
We also review this week's ICAC madness, and launch an ICAC into our own podcast, leading to some damning wire-tapped phone calls. Sweeney also struggles to remember what ICAC stands for, despite having it written down in front of him.
It is, and I cannot stress this enough, quite a decent episode.

- Songs parodied: Godfather Theme, Bunnings Warehouse theme, All I Want For Christmas Is You by Mariah Carey
In the ninthmost episode of the podcast, Sweeney and Dan trade tutorial/dating/biblical stories, defame the company Coca Cola (famous for their drink Coca Cola), and encounter two rude shocks in Current Affairs. Sweeney also fails to execute an "etymology burn", while the computerised voiceover gets a bit tetchy on more than one occasion.
Special thanks to the guest voice talent of Molly McDonald in 'Prank Patrol'.

A canonical episode this one. Straight into the canon. Real canon material.
Dan tells all about his bombshell "anti-populist" campaign for UMSU President, the boys defame the Big 4 Banks, and Current Affairs descends into improv and funny voices.
It's as loose as the nation Thailand (listen to the episode if you want to understand that purposely vague reference).
Theme Music + Songs by Dan Crowley
Wow, this was an episode!
In it, Sweeney and Dan defame Facebook, play a few more "ads", and welcome the coming of a new Messiah.
It's a nice old fashioned good time.

With no guest this week, Sweeney and Dan are stuck with each other, and you, the listener, are stuck with Sweeney and Dan. They tackle mining company/criminal syndicate Rio Tinto in Legal Defamation, explain their decision to sell their soul (and the show) to advertisers, and accidentally prepare the same article for Current Affairs.
It's fun.
(Jingles + Transitions by Dan Crowley, Outro by Ahoka)
Sweeney and Dan consult some leading scientific experts to assess their romantic compatability, then unpack some of 7/11's most bizarre and confronting slurpee flavours. Later, they're joined by Dan's brother Tom, who is customarily roasted.
(Intro + Jingles by Dan Crowley; Outro by Ahoka)
Sweeney and Dan get political in their defamation segment, tackling SERCO - a 'Public Services' company contracted by the Australian government to run its racist refugee camps. Later, they're joined by writer and comedian Isabelle Knight, who is treated to the customary barrage of roasts.
(Intro and Jingles by Dan Crowley; Outro by Ahoka)
After sinking the boot into Zoom Tute villains, WikiHow and DC Comics, Sweeney and Dan are joined by their first ever guest (stand-up comedian Ethan Cavanagh), who they are extremely rude to.
In what many people are calling an episode of this podcast, Dan gives Sweeney a masterclass in the art of negotiation, Sweeney goes into bat for Kotchie, and both boys finally reveal their podcasting toilet habits.
In this episode, Sweeney and Dan go where other media pundits won't. They tackle thorny issues like sacrificing friends to bears, and reveal the shocking truth behind the Chernobyl disaster.
Sweeney is busy with Comfest, so Dan has done a short+sharp+solo ep - the first in a spin-off series he's calling Story Pod, where he reads out some stories he's written about his life (mostly just his exchange in Edinburgh)
If you haven't already, buy tickets to Sweeney's Comedy Festival show 'Very Mature'!
Sweeney and Dan reunite for a Season 1 highlights package. Includes roasts, sketches, ads, defamation and MORE. Actually forget the more. It's just roasts, sketches, ads and defamation.
Season 2 is coming soon! Stay tuned.
