In this essential bonus episode of the Sex with Emily podcast, Dr. Emily tackles one of the most common and complicated questions in modern relationships: Does watching porn count as cheating? If you've ever felt that stomach-dropping moment when you discovered your partner's browser history, or wondered if your own porn consumption crosses a line, this episode is for you. Dr. Emily cuts straight through the confusion to reveal that there's no universal answer to this question—but if it's coming up in your relationship, there's something deeper worth exploring. The real issue isn't necessarily the porn itself, but whether this behavior is breaking trust and violating the agreements you've made with your partner. We explore why so many couples never discuss porn until someone gets hurt, how childhood conditioning around secrecy affects our adult relationships, and why the shame and silence surrounding porn often cause more damage than the porn itself. Dr. Emily also addresses when porn consumption can become genuinely problematic and offers practical guidance for having these crucial conversations. Key Topics Covered: Why there's no universal definition of cheating The difference between porn use and porn problems How secrecy and shame damage relationships more than porn Why many people never discuss boundaries until it's too late When porn consumption becomes genuinely concerning How to have honest conversations about digital boundaries Moving from assumptions to actual agreements This episode emphasizes that porn doesn't ruin relationships—it's the lack of communication, transparency, and mutual understanding that creates problems. Whether you're completely comfortable with porn or feel threatened by it, this episode provides the framework for having honest, productive conversations about digital intimacy boundaries. Remember: Communication is always sexier than making assumptions and making your partner wrong. Dr. Park shares fascinating insights about everything from The Bachelor's problematic STI testing to the connection between pubic hair grooming and infection risk. This conversation tackles the shame and fear that keep us from having honest discussions about sexual health, while providing practical advice on testing, disclosure, and maintaining healthy relationships regardless of STI status. We also explore the vaginal microbiome, why some people are more susceptible to infections, and promising new treatments on the horizon. Key Topics Covered: HPV: Why it's unavoidable and how to think about it differently Herpes disclosure and reducing transmission risk The truth about oral sex and STI transmission Pubic hair, Brazilian waxes, and infection risk Vaginal health and the microbiome Why knowing your status makes you a safer partner Breaking down STI stigma and shame Dr. Park's refreshing approach reminds us that STIs are simply part of being sexually active humans, and that knowledge, communication, and compassion are our best tools for sexual wellness. We unpack how childhood experiences, parental relationship models, and societal pressures shape our views on intimacy, boundaries, and compatibility. This week on Sex With Emily, we're tackling one of the most harmful and outdated questions in modern dating: "What's your body count?" In conversation with holistic psychologist and trauma expert Dr. Scott Lyons, we explore the troubling origins of this term, once used to count military casualties, and how it’s been repurposed to judge sexual history, often unfairly targeting women. We unpack the double standards rooted in purity culture, the insecurities this question provokes, and the shame it can breed in both high and low numbers. More importantly, we discuss why the number of sexual partners has nothing to do with sexual skill, emotional readiness, or compatibility. #intimacy #love #relationships Timestamps: 00:00:00 - Body Count: A Sex-Positive Discussion 00:03:00 - Judging Past Relationships 05:51 - Body Count & Insecurities 08:24 - Why Judging is Wrong 10:46:38 - Historical Shame Roots 13:22 - Societal Shame & Body Count 15:47 - Regrets & Sexual Experiences 18:13 - Reframing the Conversation 22:44:04 - Ditching the Question 25:38 - Addressing Relationship Insecurities 37:53 - Pleasure, Goodbyes & Outro If you’re 21+, try VIIA! In this episode of the podcast, host Emily Morse is joined by guest Pamela Madsen to explore the transformative power of "back-to-the-body" retreats for women and couples, focusing on reclaiming pleasure and improving communication. Pamela, a retreat leader with over a decade of experience, details a 7-day program emphasizing self-pleasure through clothed genital work, addressing issues such as vaginal pain and low libido. Positive outcomes from the retreats include increased self-esteem, improved communication, and better consent negotiation. The retreats also involve sexological bodywork, including genital mapping, fantasy exploration, and elements of BDSM and tantra. Men’s participation is discussed, highlighting the positive impact these retreats have on couples. The conversation also covers practical techniques like the "lotus lift" meditation and sensate focus exercises for embodied self-expression—even for those unable to attend in person. Emily and Pamela address common challenges such as body image issues, societal pressures, and communication barriers in long-term relationships. What feeling are you chasing in bed? No, I’m not talking about orgasm. I’m talking about an emotion, like feeling worshiped, praised, or unbelievably desirable. On the other hand, maybe it arouses you to feel degraded, objectified – even humiliated. On today’s show, I’m unpacking a kink that’s getting a ton of attention on social media: praise kink. It falls under the larger umbrella of core erotic desires, which we all have. I show you how to identify your core erotic desires and how to turn them into realities. I also get into your kinky questions, including: when you adore your fiancée, but fantasize about sex with your much kinkier ex, what now? And when your partner constantly gets hit on my other men, is it healthy to get turned on by it? All this and more in today's episode. You’ve heard this one before: the sexiest quality in the world is confidence. And that’s true...but...it’s not always easy to muster. Confidence is an inside job, but here’s the good news. Once you generate it on your own terms, life - and sex - gets a whole lot easier. So on today’s Ask Emily show, I’m joined by my dear friend and former co-host Menace from The Woody Show, as we talk confidence, jealousy, What happens when you adore your partner, but can’t stop thinking about their high body count? Or want to have hot phone sex, but don’t know where to start? We talk through both. How about when you feel too short to find a great partner, or don’t know how to be dominant in bed? We help you think through both. Finally: discovering your partner’s can of delay spray. Our listener wonders whether he’s sleeping with someone else; we think it’s time for open communication. We’re back for another AITA episode! This time it’s all about sexual mismatches. First: they’ve got a 12-year age difference, and she suspects his sex drive is dwindling. She doesn’t want to cheat, but she also wants more sex…what now? Next, he wants sex for pleasure, she was raised to do it only for procreation. Is there any way to meet in the middle? A self-professed "pillow princess" writes in, is she the asshole for wanting to receive pleasure – but not give it? Finally, they’re in a dead bedroom of 10 years. “She’s repulsed by my touch” he writes, but is he really asserting himself to make healthy changes? I have a difficult time understanding how men can't educate themselves or even want or purposely enjoy giving the female orgasum. As a man married and sex positive since my first partner. I get off knowing how and what my partner likes and biology of the females erogenous areas to give me the "tools" to satisfy them. In turn over time I 90% prefer to give them an orgasum before myself since I am a man and can orgasum easily but it's evolved making me get off more that way.

We're condoning criminal behavior now? No mention that one of your correspondents is guilty of a B&E, theft (possibly), and invasion of privacy.

Hey I strongly believe that STD testing is an essential part of maintaining sexual health on https://easystd.com/new-braunfels-texas-std-testing and preventing the spread of sexually transmitted infections. It involves medical examinations and laboratory tests that help identify the presence of STIs in individuals.

I believe that it is https://www.xxxbule.com/ a natural and healthy part of human sexuality. It is a way of exploring and understanding what turns us on and what we find pleasurable, without the pressure that comes with a partner. It can be a great stress reliever and can help with insomnia. For me, it is a way to express my sexuality without having to involve anyone else. I also find that watching porn can help to ignite my imagination and can make me feel more connected to the sexual experience. It can be a great way to explore fantasies and to learn more about myself and my sexuality. Ultimately, I believe that masturbation is a safe and healthy way to explore my own sexuality.

Guess consent is no longer a thing, least going by what the host is saying.

So is this what a Sex Therapist does? Support and excuse cheating and lies? No wonder our society is going down the toilet, when so called experts are promoting lies, dishonesty and oath breaking at so intimate a level.
