TRIGGER WARNING: Domestic violence, suicide. This week Kitty opened up the space for an important topic in her share from the What’s Hot and What’s Not Hot segment. She spoke into emotional abuse in a relationship dynamic when the woman is the perpetrator. It is a major issue in our society with so many men being on the receiving end of bullying, harassment, threats and manipulation by their female partners. Many studies now show that women have the same likelihood (some state even more) to be the perpetrator of domestic violence.Raising awareness, for ALL areas that drastic change is needed, is something Kitty and Johnson are both passionate about. They hope that by speaking into important topics, such as these, it encourages others to reach out to friends, seek the support they may need or realise that they are not alone in their struggles. If you, or someone you know, is in a relationship where domestic abuse is present please seek some external help. This week’s episode is focused on the difference between “Spontaneous” and “Responsive” desire. We dive into these two desire styles and how they can appear in you, as well as your partner/s.
