Shamanic Freedom Radio

Shamanic Freedom Radio is presented by Niall Murphy, also know as Opaquelens, an anomalous oddball character who cannot be put into any box that is not bigger on the inside. If you are fed up with the usual generic styles of alternative media and would like a unique perspective, this is as good a place as any to start. Comedic satire meets controversial angst meets contemplation meets philosophy meets contradiction meets silliness meets wisdom. Let’s hope they don’t all fall out eh? Previous guests include Rupert Sheldrake, Neil Kramer, Graham Hancock, David Icke, Ben Emlyn-Jones and Thomas Sheridan. SFR 158 - Trump and the Emmanuel Goldstein Effect

In this episode Niall talks about the 1984 Emmannuel Goldstein effect and how anti Trump protesters are controlled and possessed by a manufactured collective need to focus hate, as if it is an inversion of the type of worship one would have towards Jesus. As Trump is being turned into an anti-messiah, the lefties who are doing all the hating think they are awake. Music - Queen (Brian May vocals) - Some Day Some Way

SFR 157 - The Tommy Robinson dilemma

In this episode Niall contemplates as agnostically and neutrally as he can on the issue of Tommy Robinson, his arrest and whether he and his cohorts such as Lauren Southern and Britanny Pettibone are voices of reason, or populist hijackers of a narrative that could, if we're not careful, pull us too far to the right. Another theory Niall contemplates is whether Jordan Peterson is doing the present day version of Robert Anton Wilson's work but inverted for the time we are in. Wilson brought chaos to too much order, and Peterson is bringing order to too much chaos. But both of them are coming from an equally non-ideological place. Music: Ozric Tentacles - Ayurvedic.

In this episode, Ben Emlyn-Jones returns once more. SFR 155 - Rantcast - #FreeCountDankula

In this episode, Niall goes into a sweary rant about Youtuber Count Dankula being charged and sentenced for making a joke, and how this sets a dangerous precedent in the UK and Europe as we descend into the abyss of tyranny. Is doing this podcast risky? Will this low profile podcaster become a star if the Boys in Blue come round his house? There are less worse routes to fame! Ah well… Music: Queen - March of the Black Queen

SFR 154 - Soviet Britain

This episode starts with a comedy sketch. No spoilers! After that, Niall takes the mic into the woods to discuss the banning and detainment Lauren Southern and Brittany Pettibone in what seems like Soviet tactics to make political prisoners out of commentators or journalists who question the status quo whilst other more pernicious ideologies run rife. Music:Sex Pistols - God Save The Queen

SFR 153 - Niall kills a dalek

In this episode, Niall lands the Turdis in his front room only to discover that a Dalek is in his house. After making mincemeat of his adversary the topics include the heads of Britain First being arrested and the serious implications of being charged effectively for 'thought crimes' when it would have been more of a PR disaster for them if they were just given an ASBO for public order offences. The other main topic is the suspiciously synthetic and astro turf nature of hatred towards Donald Trump and how it is incongruous compared to the organic and grass roots hatred which developed around world leaders of the past. Music - Pink Floyd - Welcome To The Machine

SFR 152 - Wrong side of the zeitgeist, right side of history

In this episode, Niall goes off into a ranty, sweary albeit highly nuanced tirade about the problems of cultural Marxism and its corrosive effects on Western culture, and the fact that we have to risk becoming hate criminals now in order for there to be a future worth having then. Music - West Coast Prost - Beer Barrel Polka

SFR 146 - Beating off the left/right psy-op

In this episode Niall speaks about the recent problem of so called alternative media becoming as much of a propaganda tool as the mainstream, if not worse. Since the political left has become so ridiculous, the alt right has attempted to hijack the narrative of the left's critics, subtly insinuating puritanical conservative and sometimes borderline fascistic narratives into the mix. Niall suspects that the so called alternative media "stars" with the highest ratings - especially those who come from North America - are using their platform to steer those who fall out of the mainstream into the direction of toxic, obsolete 20th century ideologies, and that the best way to deal with this is to reject both sides and search for people who are real out of the box thinkers with no agenda, and who will help in your search to define yourself as an individual. Music - Niall Murphy - Mission Ineffable

SFR 145 - Thomas Sheridan at Glastonbury Symposium

In this episode, Niall plays a recording of Thomas Sheridan talking at the Glastonbury Symposium on Saturday July 29, 2017. SFR 144 - Recovering from the pseudo spiritual

In this episode, Niall mulls over the 'aftermath' stage a person goes through when they have freed themselves from the cultish nature of pseudo spiritual people, but still have to deal with the emotional residue they've been left with, and why it's important to get to a stage of emotional indifference concerning these offending people. This merges into a light/shadow metaphor and the infernal ubiquitous 'lit-up-ness' that so called 'lightworkers' mistake for true light, and how it makes them externalise the dark. Music: Björk - Hyperballad

SFR 143 - Niall gets the Turdis out again!

In this episode, Niall decides that he’s had enough of being on Earth as so goes into space by landing his Turdis on Blakes’ 7’s The Liberator. After a clip from Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy, the silliness subsides and Niall speaks about how a lot of us in the so called ‘alternative’ media over sensationalise all the bad stuff because it’s newsworthy, and don’t talk enough about good things that could happen in the future. Maybe the future is not as doomed as we fear, and just maybe we could do with being a bit more optimistic. Music: Air - You Make It Easy

07-05
31:09

SFR 142 - Conservato-Terrorism and Chronic Ideological Disorder

In this episode, Niall rants about the possibility that the new Conservato-Terrorist regime in the UK could be a plot by hidden hands, involving the Tories being instructed to trash their own popularity as part of a globalist socialist agenda. Could this be the case? The other main topic of this podcast is the spread of extreme ideological disorder - the great plague of our time - to balkanise people into fixed polarised factions. Music: Here and Now - Fire in the Sky

SFR 141: Political victory for anarchists?

In this episode, Niall shares his amusement at the farce that passes for the summer 2017 UK general election, and how it could possibly be a victory for anarchists as we have ended up with a strong opposition and a weak, precarious, divided government that, in order to be in power, has to form a coalition with the DUP, the political wing of a former terrorist organisation with connections to Ian Paisley, thus rendering the UK Government a 'Terrorist Regime' and the irony of fighting terrorism under such circumstances. Music - Gong - Sold to the Highest Buddah

SFR 140 - Stop your bickering and let's unite.

In this episode, Niall puts his bigger picture perspective forward in the aftermath of the spate of terror attacks in the UK, and how we need to stop bickering from our islanded, balkanised echo chambers about who did it, whether it's the Muslims or the Spooks, and unite as people. In the second half Niall discusses crypto currencies like Bitcoin, and why they are not the 'cashless society' that David Icke once warned us about. Music: Gary Numan and Tubeway Army - Bombers Gong - Oily Way

SFR 139 - Kramer's not gone flat after all

In this episode, Niall backtracks on the previous episode concerning Neil Kramer. After looking at the situation from a different perspective it appears that in the process of Niall, Thomas Sheridan, Ben-Emlyn Jones and various other people witnessing the crazy cult like build up of the flat Earthers and taking a more hostile view because of how it’s made people become, it’s likely that Neil Kramer was not caught up in this soap opera and may not have been aware of what a hot potato it had become. Neil Kramer is reinstated into the intro, and hopefully there are no hard feelings. We live and learn, except when we don’t. Music: David Sylvian - Forbidden Colours
