Hello!
Coming up on today’s show: is having a boyfriend embarrassing now? It’s the Vogue article that’s fully taken over the world – to the point where it was pitched as a story to all four of our existing podcast pillars lol. This piece has clearly hit a nerve so we wanted to deep it. And later – is boredom a good thing? Or should we all stop romanticising it?

Jennifer Lawrence suggests she’s done talking about politics, Nobody Wants All This Product Placement, and then!! Slow News Week hehe

Hi hi hi!
Coming up on today’s show: “It’s giving mean girl”. We see this kind of comment all the time, on our own socials, and all across the internet. But what does it actually mean? What is ‘mean girl energy’ – what are ‘mean girl vibes’? This language is so evocative, but are we actually using it to call out mean behaviour, or are we using it to just… shut women down?

Hello!
On today’s show: Lily Allen and her new album, of course, we decode the lyrics, the stories, as much as we possibly can. Plus, Kristen Bell strikes twice, all the latest in Prince Andrew’s disastrous fall from grace, and it would appear Sophie Turner and Chris Martin are dating?
This week, Mich recommended reading Man’s Search for Meaning. Zara recommended The Rest is Politics’ Murdoch series.

Hi there!
Coming up on today’s show: it seems like every time SNL cast member Chloe Fineman is mentioned on the internet, the top comment is always something like – “She’s funny, but she’s a Scientologist.” Is it true that Chloe Fineman and her family have ties to Scientology? If it is… wouldn’t that make her a victim who deserves our sympathy, not some big bad bully who deserves to be taken down a peg?
On today’s show, Zara recommended Jennifer Aniston on Armchair Expert.
Huge thanks to Love Island Australia for making this episode of Shameless possible. Also, shout-out to Dyson and the Dyson Co-anda Airwrap2x.

Hello!
On today’s show: Calling all Benson Booners!!! His ex-girlfriend is hinting that all did not end well in their relationship, and we need to spend HEAPS of time talking about it. Plus, that Kristen Bell anniversary post, the Hailey Bieber/Selena Gomez headlines kick off again, we wouldn’t mind talking about the Golden Bachelor, if that’s OK? And then, wtf is 6 7.
This week, Mich recommended watching The Perfect Neighbour on Netflix. Zara recommended Famous Last Words with Jane Goodall on Netflix.

Hiya!
Coming up on today’s show: “What about me?” That is the overwhelming theme within so many comment sections these days, and we wanted to deep it. Why do we feel like absolutely everything we see on the internet has to be tailored individually to us? Is this just the natural reaction to how ultra-personalised our algorithms have become?
Thankyou so much to Elite Eleven for making this episode of Shameless possible. Also, shout-out to Bumble!

Hiya!
On today’s show: Louis Tomlinson’s interview on the DOAC might just be the best celebrity interview we’ve ever listened to, Dolly Parton posted a… proof-of-life video but more on that later, and we might have our ‘first egg on us for egging ourselves too early’ situation on our hands, because Katy Perry and Justin Trudeau very much look like a couple!!!! Then, we share some of Diane Keaton’s most iconic quotes after the news of her passing, and finally, why is Travis Kelce signing Taylor Swift’s CDs lol.
This week, Zara recommended Louis Theroux interviewing Ed Sheeran. And here is the link to Louis Tomlinson on The Diary of a CEO.

Hello hello!!
Coming up on today’s show: On her wedding day, Selena Gomez was photographed holding what appears to be a vape. This reignited a social media frenzy that’s been going on among stan circles for years now; what happened to Selena’s friendship with the woman who gave her an organ? Also, if you are the recipient of a loved one’s organ, do you owe them a certain kind of lifestyle? It’s a moral conundrum we’d like to unpack, and it’s not exactly simple. Few things rarely are!!

Hello!
On today’s show: we have quite a few updates to the Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban split story. We go deeper on Taylor Swift’s diss track about Charli XCX. Speaking of drama, what’s up with that feud between Nicki Minaj and Cardi B? A months-old Call Her Daddy interview is copping flak for a curious reason, oh! And did you see! There’s a development to the Coldplay Concert cheating drama that felt like a fever dream in the middle of the year…

Welcome to our review episode of The Life of a Showgirl!!
Is this perhaps the most divisive album of the last few years? Rolling Stone gave it a perfect 5/5, The Guardian a measly 2/5. Oh – and a viral tweet with tens of thousands of likes declared “The Life of a Showgirl is as if Dubai, matcha, pistachio chocolate, Colleen Hoover books, and labubus all had a baby with Al”.
So! What the hell did we make of it? Let’s find out!!!

Hiya!
On today’s show: the billionaire, the psychedelics and the best-selling memoir. Amy Griffin was already incredibly wealthy before her best-selling memoir, The Tell. In fact, that wealth and influence might’ve just been the thing that pushed the publishing deal over the line. Now, after everyone from Oprah Winfrey to Gwyneth Paltrow to Reese Witherspoon has endorsed Amy’s book, the New York Times has raised some pretty serious questions about the story within...

HI!
Coming up on today’s show: it might just be the most consistently controversial TV show of all time – yep, we’re talking about South Park! As the show continues with its 27th season, it’s managed to remain remarkably culturally relevant for almost three decades. Love it or hate it, you simply can’t deny its staying power…

It’s our last In Conversation episode from London, and who better to end our Shameless Takes interviews for 2025 than Louis Theroux? Louis needs no introduction, but for those who do: Louis is a documentary presenter best known for producing immersive documentaries that explore the often-controversial and complex aspects of the human condition. In this conversation, Louis talks about his relationship with fame, that Armie Hammer interview, why he thinks interviewing the people he does is important, and his wife, Nancy.

Hello!
On today’s show: Remember the Try Guys scandal of 2022? Yep, the scandal that TIME Magazine called one of the most viral moments of the year? Well, it’s just been given fresh oxygen: the man at the centre of the cheating fiasco, Ned Fulmer, has sat down with the woman he cheated on (the mother of his children, Ariel Fulmer) to unpack exactly what happened, and how they’d like to very much move on now, please. So, we’re going to walk you through the anatomy of this story, and unpack all of our thoughts about the podcast interview people can’t stop talking about right now.

Today, we are joined by the wonderful Camille Charriere. If the name isn't familiar, we’ve been huge fans for a very long time – having read Camille’s words in Vogue, Elle and The Sunday Times’s Style, we are not alone. Millions of people follow Camille for her incisive analysis on clothes, culture and modern life.
In this episode, Camille unpacks how she started her career in fashion, how trying to have a baby via IVF broke her, and the content Camille is so known and adored for: dating and love in your 20s and 30s.

We have an emergency review of The Summer I Turned Pretty’s series finale for you today!!!! And when we say emergency, we mean it was so last-minute that Billy malfunctioned a fair bit in this episode because there was no simply time to prep a runsheet.
Even still, in this review episode, we cover literally every detail about the finale, from top to tail. Obviously, there are spoilers, so listen with caution!

On today’s show: Paul Mescal wants to protect his relationship with Gracie Abrams. America’s new Bachelorette has been announced, and she has a curious past. Hi How can I access to the transcription?
I have read JK Rowling's book and ah the main villain is not a cross dresser. What the? There's one line regarding a suspect who wore a wig and a woman's jacket. A VERY minor character. I don't know if I should laugh at how ignorant you all are or be really alarmed at how easily you believed this. Goodness what else have I listened to on this podcast that's so incredibly not true? I'm now doubting everything!
of course weevils are a real thing...... it's not made up. they're bugs.
Great!

Really hated how one of these girls spoke to the other, seemed quite condescending and rude. Was pretty uncomfortable to listen to.
Been trying to play this episode, but it's not working for some weird reason. 😔
I found you on cast box and I dont follow you on Instagram or Facebook
