You see, nowadays, (our country as a case study), people, especially youths are now freer to express themselves, better than ever. Has anything changed? What happened to the conservative Nigerians? Oh well, I don't know either. Join the conversation to find out 🥳
During the course of our lives, people come to shake things up, to pull us out of our comfort zone, to console us, to tell us that everything is going to be alright, to merry with us, to cry with is. Sisters are more than blood relations, they are gods in our lives. I got a few of my friends to share their experiences on sisterhood with me🤭
Well, NYSC CAMP, to a lot of people was fun. But to me, it's just one of those many things. It wasn't all that. I can't lie that I didn't meet amazing people but yes it is what is what. Do you think my experience was fun, sit back and listen. Thank you 😊.
Most times we tend to deny the benefits that comes with being a pretty girl so this episode shows the reality of of a few friends of mine who have actually benefited from pretty privilege. Pretty privilege is indeed a thing and we must really come to acknowledge it because it has helped quite a number of us sometimes and helped us out of troubles and a lot have really gained from it so this is like an episode where people share their experiences and tell us how a fact pretty privilege is a thing.
This episode just launches us into the new year. Stay with us as we make another journey through the year.
This is just me doing my normal rants about music. This time I talked about my favorite record label in the country.
This is a very short episode. Said a lot of random things. It's been a while so I need the folk to keep up with me 😌
Our social media space in recent times, have seen an uprising in the 'fight' against hypergamy. The male folk claim that the females are simply Gold-digging every single time they say they cannot date down. I do not see the problem in refusing to date down; morally, economically, spiritually, and otherwise. Relationships, normally are supposed to be based off of how much value you can get from the other person. In a relationship, no matter how anyone refuses to see it, everyone is giving something. Obviously, what a person gives might not be as significant as what the other person offers but nonetheless, something is shared. People wanting good things for themselves does not automatically translate to Gold-digging. Even if it does, it's not your gold being dug, the owner isn't even complaining. What we should be fighting for is entitlement that comes with these things. In this episode, myself and Amanda tried to makes some things about hypergamy clear. Listen and tell us what you think

People have a thousand and one reasons why they make rules. But here's the drift, certain people come in your life and make you let your guard down. They have what I call the 'special people privilege'. The treatment met out to them despite their shortcomings is different from what you give to others. I discussed this episode with Chelsea, please listen and let me know what you feel about bending rules. Ciao☺️
In this episode, I talked about how best one can handle rejections without having to beat themselves up. Kindly refer to my talk on coping mechanisms for more tips on handling sad situations ☺️
Just me ranting about the bad days I've had in the market. Yesterday wasome of those unlucky days. Share your experiences of you don't mind.
Life throws different things at us, at different times. Sometimes, good, sometimes bad. How we respond to these things, matter a lot, as a long term effect could either improve our well-being or Mar our lives. Coping mechanisms are strategies people use to fight back/control negative emotions.
Our people say whenever one wakes up is their morning. Self-realization is an important part of life, a continuous process through which our lives improve.
