You know those dating tips that make you go “wait… who told you that?!” Yeah, we’re talking about those. In this episode of Sheena Interrupted, TRID and I go through some of the absolute worst relationship advice we’ve ever heard! From ghosting, to playing hard to get, we’re breaking down why some of these so-called “rules” are more cringe than cute. Get ready to laugh, shudder, and possibly re-think everything you’ve ever been told about love. Vegamour: Vegamour.com/Sheena for 20% off your first order!
In this Mother’s Day episode, we’re unpacking the mental load, the magic, and the mayhem that is motherhood. TRID asks the big questions (and as usual, a few ridiculous ones), I try to explain the unexplainable joy and exhaustion of being a mom, and Zara and Jae steal the spotlight with their own sweet little shoutouts. If you’re a mom, love a mom, or just want a front-row seat to the beautiful chaos of my life as a mom—this one’s for you. Pack your bags—it’s Sheena Interrupted, vacation edition. This week we brought the podcast to paradise and attempted to record a “peaceful” vacation episode… let’s just say the outcome is quite the opposite.  This episode includes: too many mics, no idea how to use them, and more chaos than  normal.  Pre-Save MORE OF YOU https://distrokid.com/hyperfollow/sheenamelwani/more-of-you
You know you're really married when you stop fighting about who takes the trash out… and just silently accept your fate. In this episode, we’re airing out all the unspoken agreements that run our house—who gets up with the kids, why the thermostat is a war zone, and the invisible contracts we didn’t even know we've made over the years. Welcome to our House Rules: where love means never having to say, ‘Can you do the taxes again this year?'
You think you know someone… and then you get married. In this brutally honest episode of Sheena Interrupted, we peel back the curtain on what really changes after “I do.” From unfiltered confessions to surprising revelations, we dive into the little things no one warns you about: clashing routines, strange habits and the joy of realizing your partner is exactly who you thought they were (for the most part). Tune in for some real talk, real laughs, and a whole lot of interruptions.
What's a "Hot Take" anyway? Sheena tries to make sense of it all and promptly loses control of the conversation (what's new?)! Buckle up as opinions fly faster than facts, no one knows what the truth even is anymore, and TRID suffers from a hilarious case of verbal diarrhea. Don't worry— we snuck in a few nuggets of wisdom within the chaos!
This week on Sheena Interrupted, we’re flipping the script—literally. While I was traveling for work, TRID held it down at home with the kids... and I came back to some very surprising discoveries. I never knew he made the bed when I’m gone, or that he survived on a diet of water and ice! Join us as we talk parenting solo, unexpected routines, and what really goes down when mom’s away. Spoiler: it’s not all chaos (but it’s close).
This is what happens when TRID takes medication!  In this weeks episode of Sheena Interrupted, we are coming to you from our living room couch (where TRID has been parked for days) as he recovers from surgery.  Join us as we chat about his surgery & a whole lotta nonsense. Let's just say anesthesia unlocked a whole new level of TRID, but as they say...the show must go on!
No, not that L word—we mean luck. The thing people credit when they don’t know how to explain their success—or their failures. In this episode, we’re breaking down those weird twists of fate, the moments that feel too good to be random and those wild moments when everything just works out (kind of).
This week on Sheena Interrupted, TRID takes over the mic for a special conversation with our very own Zara! 🎙️✨ They dive into life as an 11-year-old, swap stories, play games, and ask each other the hard-hitting questions—like what it really feels like to be the youngest in the family.  Expect laughter, surprises, and most of all, a heartwarming father-daughter chat that made us happy.
Last month, I lost my dad, and the grief hit me in a way I never could have anticipated. In this episode, I’m opening up about what this experience has taught me—the unexpected lessons, the moments of clarity, and the ways I’m learning to carry his love forward. If you’re navigating your own grief, I hope this serves as a reminder that you are not alone. Grief is complicated, but within it, there can also be moments of connection, healing, and even unexpected beauty. Take a deep breath, join me in this conversation, and let’s walk through this together. 💙 -TRID
This week on Sheena Interrupted I’m sitting down with my son Jae, to catch up, have a little chat about being 14, and most importantly, to decode the mysterious ways of his generation. In this episode, we talk about life, language, and everything in between. Watch as I try to keep up with my GEN Z son in an episode filled with relatable parenting moments and plenty of love & laughter.
Welcome to this week’s episode of Sheena Interrupted, where we shake off the winter blues armed with boxing kangaroos, hairy armpits, and a heated discussion over the enigma of ‘unmarked bills.’ Tune in, relax, and remember—sometimes the best antidote for winter blues is a podcast filled with everything and a hefty dose of delightful nonsense.  Oh, and we’ve got one burning question:  Who you think would win in a fight…TRID or Kangaroo? Drop your bet in the comments!
This week on Sheena Interrupted, we’re sharing the unfiltered truth about our whirlwind week of travel. From getting glam in LA at a photoshoot to making meaningful connections at an American Heart Association event in New York, we’re recapping every thrilling, chaotic and heartwarming moment.
Happy Valentine's Day! This week on Sheena Interrupted, we decided to put our marriage to the test with The Couple’s Game! After years together, raising kids, and navigating all of life’s ups and downs, we like to think we know each other pretty well… but do we really? We answered some fun (and slightly revealing) questions, shared some of our favorite memories, and even uncovered a few surprises along the way. There were laughs, some friendly competition, and as usual with TRID, a little roasting. Join us for a heartwarming, hilarious dive into love, partnership, and the little things that make our relationship work. Welcome back to Sheena Interrupted! You know how we love giving top-tier, well-researched, highly intellectual advice? Just kidding, that's definitely not us! Today, we’re diving into your questions—no matter how funny, awkward, or downright unhinged they may be. Think of this as the podcast version of our Asinine Advice series on YouTube, where logic takes a backseat, and comedy rides shotgun. Should you trust us? Absolutely not. But will you be entertained? That’s a guarantee. Indeed: Indeed.com/Sheena for a $75 sponsored job credit
TikTok: the app that started it all. This week on Sheena Interrupted, we dive into the emotional roller coaster of the TikTok ban that had the entire country in a frenzy. From the chaos to the questions, we’re leaving nothing off the table.
On this week’s episode of Sheena Interrupted, we’re taking you along on a trip that was so much more than just a vacation—it was a chance to show our kids the heart and soul of India. From the timeless beauty of the Taj Mahal to a pitstop at, let’s just say, the most questionable bathroom I've ever encountered, join us as we share our adventures of showing our kids everything this amazing country has to offer... and of course, the moments that made us say, ‘Only in India!’
This week on Sheena Interrupted, we’re kicking off 2025 with a fun twist on New Year’s resolutions—or in TRID’s case, anti-resolutions. One of my goals this year is to make self-care a priority, so we’re putting that into action right away by recording this episode at MiniLuxe while getting our nails done! It’s resolutions, relaxation, and plenty of laughs—because who says you can’t start the year with a little pampering? Edited by Ignacio Scandizzo and produced by Hilario Bango and the team at Martian Arts This episode's sponsors: Apostrophe:  Apostrophe.com.SHEENA then use our code SHEENA at sign up and you’ll get your first visit for only five dollars!  Indeed: Indeed.com/SHEENA and listeners of this show will get a $75 sponsored job credit to get your jobs more visibility
We are BACK!! Welcome to Season 2 of Sheena Interrupted (yes, we renewed our contract with ourselves)! In this episode we look back on some of the best moments of 2024. From the big moments with all of you to the quiet connections we made at home, we’re celebrating the highlights that made this year unforgettable. Tune in for a trip down memory lane & get ready for a new season of laughter.

I want to share a lesson I had to learn the learn the hard way, grieving is very necessary nor allowing ourselves to truly grieve, trying to be "strong" denying the pain of losing a loved one must be expressed.
