Shot for Shot

It's just after Halloween, so we're going to quote the Sanderson Sisters: "We're baaack"! It has been an awful long time since Alex and Monica have posted, and we seriously apologize for that. We explain our hiatus in the episode, but the long and short of it is that we have been discussing some big changes for our podcast. This is a super long episode, and we are very excited to share it with you!

Hello listeners! So first things first, sorry for the late posting of this one! We experienced some technical difficulties and crazy work schedules that prevented us from getting this up at our usual time. We thank you all for your patience. In this episode, Alex and I talk about the many interpretations of Gotham City's notorious psychotic clown in anticipation of Joaquin Pheonix's newest film, "Joker". As always, we thank you so much for listening. -Monica

HELLO LISTENERS! Okay, so we're sorry for the unplanned hiatus. As it turns out, moving your entire life a state over (below?) is not a quick or easy process, and starting a new job at the same time doesn't help for sure.  All that being said, we are both soooo excited to be back with a new episode this week!  We're talking about the box office and critical flop "The Kitchen", starring Melissa McCarthy, Tiffany Haddish, and Elizabeth Moss. We've got some hot n' spicy takes on this one folks.  As always, thanks so much for listening and we hope you enjoy this episode. Oh, and since I'm just now realizing that we forgot out Social Media Plug in the episode, I'm going to remind you thank you can find us at @shotforshotcast on Instagram, @shotforshotpodcast on Facebook, or at shotforshotcast.com.  Happy listening! -Monica

Hello listeners! You've read that title right, I'm afraid. We didn't see a movie so we made a grab-bag instead. Our sincere apologies. Oh, and I'm moving to Florida.  But don't fret for even a moment, because I've bought my own microphone and Alex and I have every intention of continuing Shot for Shot for the foreseeable future. We will return to our regular content for the next episode.  In this grab-bag, Alex and I discuss some of the movie news fresh from SDCC last week and give you our new trailer reactions. As always, we thank you so much for listening! -Monica

Hello Listeners! In an unsurprising turn of events, Alex and I are going to talk about a Marvel movie. At least we're consistent.  Even so, we had a really good time with this episode, and we think it will be a nice salve for all of the Marvel fans who saw this movie and left wondering what the f**k is going on.  As always, we thank you so much for tuning in! Please feel free to leave us feedback on any of our social media platforms or on Apple Podcasts.
