Steve and Eli keep the Season 1 ride of 'Longmire' going with episodes 2 and 3. These bumpy Wyoming roads are unforgiving but Walt Longmire is driving straight and true. Eli brings to light a number of interesting themes and threads he notice upon his rewatch. The guys talk through to the end of f***ing season one of Netflix's "The End of the F***ing World"! Steve was on this wild ride for the first time and it felt to him like he watched a long cool movie. Eli picked up a lot of new insights from his rewatch and found that the show still surprised him during the second watch. Steve and Eli continue the wild ride of 'The End of the F***ing World' on Netflix with episodes 2 & 3! Steve comes around from his initial impressions of the show and the main character's motivation. They discuss how more than the other shows they've watched so far the first three episodes of 'The End of the F***ing World' feels the most like a movie. They talk a lot about style, tone, and more over: how cinematic the experience of watching it is. Episodes 2 & 3 really change Steve's impression of the show but is it enough for him to want to keep watching the rest of the first season? Listen to find out!

Steve is a bit hesitant to get into this new show until Eli points out that our main characters are really innocent kids as far as we know. Furthermore, these kids have been failed by their caregivers and institutions as the harsh realities of life!
By the end Steve is swayed and gets fired up to watch the next 2 episodes!

They guys are decidedly enthusiastic about this unique and imaginative Season 1 of 'Atlanta' by Donald Glover and team! They don't claim to know all the intended meaning and symbolism, however they are enthralled at the constantly evolving narrative style. With thought provoking episodes, scenes, and characters 'Atlanta' does not leave the guys wanting for anything.
Remember to stay tuned all the way to the end as Eli picks a new show! HINT: It's another recent British streaming series...

The guys roll into the pilot episode of 'Atlanta' created by Donald Glover. This FX original comedy is now available to stream on Hulu. This was Steve's pick and was amazed and excited that Eli hadn't watched it before. They guys discuss the unique take that Donald Glover makes here for a TV show about an American city. They discuss the original and imaginative brand of humor that's used in the storytelling. Steve interested in Eli's personal knowledge of Atlanta and the music industry and what he thought of how it was depicted in the show. Please join us as we watch 'Atlanta' streaming on FX on Hulu!

Steve and Eli wrap up the rest of season 1 of the Netflix original show 'Atypical' and then Steve gets to pick a new show! Steve really loved Eli's choice of 'Atypical' and had a great time watching it for the first time. They discuss the interesting and at times quite funny way this show tackles such a complex subject matter as Autism. They both remark at how important and relevant the show is in its realistic depiction of living with a family member on the Autism Spectrum. They rave about the acting and writing and find 'Atypical' to be one of the better new shows that Netflix has to offer. Stay till the end when Steve picks a new show to watch!

Steve makes increasing bold claims about second episodes of certain tv shows and overall is loving the arc of the story and characters. We have a new show to talk about! 'Atypical' from Netflix. Eli chose this amazingly original tv show that covers a deeply relevant topic: living on the Autism Spectrum. Steve is really impressed by how this show covers such complex subject matter, while keeping the tone funny and entertaining throughout. They both find the casting and acting by the main characters to be superb and really enjoy getting dropped into this fictional family's life.
