In my case McMeel v Gissing-McMeel I had first hand experience of how the system and those in positions of power, public office and trust are failing those of us who are loving, emotional available mothers and fathers. I saw how the system weaponises our sons and daughters for financial profiteering.  As a loving mother, devoted loyal wife,  law student, previous local parish councillor, business woman who was featured in Vogue and Tatler magazine I was hoping that my character as a mother and woman in the local community would be seen and heard by the courts during child arrangement proceedings. I trusted and believed in the law. However, in practical terms, I was wrong. I was silenced, bullied and placed under duress to flea the country without my children for safety. Because of the imbalance of power my ex was able to exert in the court room with zero substantial material evidence to back up his claims. Blank forms where used by his solicitors. He is a Barrister KC and Professor of Law at Reading University, surrounded by solicitors, powerful MP's which resulted in him misleading the courts, breaching his duty to the courts to be honest and transparent. Effectively using our children as a shield in order to crowbar me out of the way. He gained full custody of our children unlawfully using false allegations unsupported by evidence. Even though I was granted access to our children, my requests for contact are blocked and silenced by their father. Our children's rights to a loving, emotionally available mother are being denied.  I am not alone in this narrative. Since I spoke out publicly in 2021 about what I was experienced, there has been an overwhelming amount of mothers and fathers who have also experienced the weaponisation of their sons and daughters within the family courts also. This led me to use my legal research skills to look at why these failings are happening. This is the main reason is because of the misunderstanding and misuse of the work of psychiatrist Richard Gardner, who coined the term 'Parental Alienation" back in 1985. He was a supporter of child rape and peadophilia.In this episode I share the more information of Richard Gardner and what we as loving mothers and fathers can do, to hold those working within the system and those who play a role within it, accountable.
