With over 35 years at Northgate, he’s risen from deli clerk to nationally recognized food industry leader, shaping Latino food trends and product innovation. A recipient of the Inspirational Food Leader Award, he’s now a sought-after expert and global speaker in the Hispanic grocery market.Join us as we dive into his inspiring story—how he transformed early experience into expertise, found mentorship and purpose, and now helps shape the future of food innovation for communities across California.

Despite facing multiple setbacks—including scholastic dismissal and the challenge of balancing full-time work with his education—Jaime’s unwavering determination led him to not only return to Fullerton College but to thrive and build the foundation for a promising career in physics. Jaime fulfilled dreams of completing a fellowship at MIT and has even visited NASA Headquarters! Join us as we dive into his inspiring story—how he overcame obstacles, found a community of mentors, and now hopes to light the way for future generations of scientists and researchers.
