This week to mark Lithuanian National Day on February 16, we revisit AFI Silver Theatre Assistant Film Programmer Ben Delgado’s conversation with writer/director Jurgis Matulevicius [5:11] discussing his brilliant debut film ISAAC (2019), recorded in December 2020 as part of the AFI EU Film Showcase. The excellent Lithuanian historical drama is still making the virtual festival rounds. So keep an eye out for it if you missed it the first time.
