The 1800s were a time when superstition ran wild through the Irish countryside, but as the century began to come to a close, more and more people were getting an education and many superstitions were beginning to fade away. That being said, there were still plenty of people who held onto the beliefs of old, and sometimes this could have disastrous consequences. In May of 1957, a terrible tragedy struck the Pollock Family when young Jacqueline and Joanna Pollock were hit and killed by a crazed woman attempting vehicular suicide. Their parents were mortified. They had no idea what to do, so they did anything they could to help cope with the grief of losing both their daughters. Ultimately, John Pollock turned to religion - specifically reincarnation. PJ you have got the greatest voice for this and you are well reasoned and skeptical... when I listen to True Crime podcast I always feel like the host are leaving one fact out that would change the whole narrative, but you do such an outstanding job. Brandon was a drug addict.... I believe all the extra voices and sounds are on the phone but they are on the nursing home side of the phone.
