We live in a world that values answers. We were taught in school to learn how to answer questions in exams, we were conditioned to go to work knowing that we need to have the answers and our society, by and large, focuses on finding the solutions rather than figuring out if we are asking the right questions. Just like most people who have been through the traditional education system and started working in a corporate job, were trained to have the answers. We would like to shed some light on the skill of asking the right questions. For some people, questioning comes easily. Their natural inquisitiveness, emotional intelligence, and ability to read people put the ideal question on the tip of their tongue. But most of us don’t ask enough questions, nor do we pose our inquiries in an optimal way. Today's episode we dive deep into the conversation.  ____________________________________________________ For full episodes in AUDIO and VISUAL subscribe to Patreon.com/straightupsisters Follow us on IG: @straightupsistersthepodcast @raqcsworld @lasusie Follow us on YOUTUBE: Straight Up Sisters Podcast Email us: hello@straightupsisters.com

In a world full of major stressors and to-do lists, it can be difficult finding the time to just do well, absolutely nothing. But, here is why you should start.  When was the last time you did nothing?  By nothing, we mean absolutely nothing- no scrolling on social media, no reading books or articles, no lisening to podcasts, no watching movies, TV, or youtube videos.  Well if you are like many Americans, you'll probably have to stop and think about it, because we don't "do nothing" very often.  Americans need to take a chill pill.  Sadly, so much of our doingness has resulted from a cultured brain washing that tells us that compulstive busyness is a requisite for being a decent human being and decent employee. As a result, workaholic behaviors like checking your email during off hours or going into the office on the weekend have become a norm for many.  __________________________________________________________________ For FULL episodes in AUDIO and VISUAL subscribe to our podcast on Patreon.com/straightupsisters Follow us on IG: @straightupsistersthepodcast @raqcsworld @lasusie  Email us: hello@straightupsisters.com  Website + Merch: www.straightupsisters.com

There are 5 real shitty ways to communicate in any relationship: Criticism, Contempt, Defensiveness, Stonewalling and Over communicating. And it’s amazing just how little we pay attention to these things when we engage with folks in conversation or conflict. So much can be resolved OR avoided if we just learn to master our tongue! In today's episode we dive deep into this topic of conversation. ______________________________________________________________   For FULL EPISODE in Audio & Video subscribe to our podcast Patreon.com/straightupsisters  Follow us on IG: @straightupsistersthepodcast @raqcsworld @lasusie  Follow us on YOUTUBE: Straight Up Sisters Podcast Email us: StraightUpSistersThePodcast@gmail.com
Only the bold will be able to go from ordinary to extraordinary. The larger part of society will never experience true success. Why? Because the majority of people are unwilling to become the CEO of their life — they’d rather someone else call the shots. The more you evolve into the best version of yourself, the more you’ll be required to give up. To be extraordinary is no easy task and not for everyone, but TRULY, who doesn't want an extraordinary life? Remember, Extraordinary lives don’t just happen. _________________________________________________________   For FULL EPISODE in Audio & Video subscribe to our podcast Patreon.com/straightupsisters  Follow us on IG: @straightupsistersthepodcast @raqcsworld @lasusie  Follow us on YOUTUBE: Straight Up Sisters Podcast Email us: StraightUpSistersThePodcast@gmail.com
It’s human nature to seek contact and relationships, to seek love, support, and comfort in others. In fact, the "need to belong" is one of the main forces that drives individuals. From an evolutionary perspective, cultivating strong relationships and maintaining them has both survival and reproductive advantages. After all, most of us do "need to belong" and do want closeness and intimacy in our lives. Yet, love and relationships are rarely as perfect and problem-free as we would like them to be. Maybe you have never really thought through or analyzed your behavior in relationships. Still, you might have noticed repeating patterns in your love life. Have you wondered why you keep ending up in the same situation, even with different partners? Today, we have Adam Lane Smith on the show, an attachment specialist, breaking down the 4 different attachment styles and how you can become aware of them.   __________________________________________________________   For FULL EPISODE in Audio & Video subscribe to our podcast Patreon.com/straightupsisters  Follow us on IG: @straightupsistersthepodcast @raqcsworld @lasusie @attachmentadam Follow us on YOUTUBE: Straight Up Sisters Podcast Email us: StraightUpSistersThePodcast@gmail.com

Birth order is the theory that claims that the order in which a child is born into their family helps shape their development and personality. For example: Are you the oldest bossy one? Maybe you're the middle distant one? Or perhaps you're the carefree baby of the bunch? Although not scientifically backed, it cannot be a coincidence that most of us will display the same or similar qualities regardless of where on the planet we are born. We get into this topic and a little bit more, with our guest Esther Rosales, LMFT as she shed's some light on why we may move the way we do. Get ready to learn some thangs!
