Cameron Kahn is a basketball player who has achieved 3 first-team all-lone Star conference teams, a second-team NABC all-district award, multiple offensive players of the week awards, and spent last summer working with kids to teach them about faith! Nick Wilson joins SwaggyShoots to share his story and show his faith. In highschool, Wilson did not make the baseball team but decided to become the manager for the JV team. Wilson worked his way up to varsity his senior year and attended Vernon College his freshman year of college. The right-handed pitcher then transferred to The Southern University and A&M College where there he racked up many accolades such as SWAC pitcher of the week and participating in the HBCU All-Star game. Now, Wilson plays a huge role for the Dallas Baptist Patriots Baseball Team. The Patriots are currently ranked 15th in the nation and Wilson helped seal the game versus Alabama to win the Frisco Classic.
Ryleigh Edmonson is currently a junior at Dallas Baptist University. She was raised in the church, which is mostly the reason for her falling in love with singing. Trevor Frank is a hardworking basketball player for Dallas Baptist University. Frank decided to redshirt his freshman year and that motivated him to grind harder this previous summer. Trevor has been a big boost for the Patriots this season by averaging 10 points a game and being a menace on the defensive side of the ball. The Patriots are currently 21-3 and are currently ranked 8th in the country in D-2 basketball.
Deng Dut is a Dallas Baptist Basketball player who is from Melbourne, Australia. Dut has been playing basketball most of his life and moved to the United States of America to chase his dream of playing basketball and getting a good education. Chambers recruitment was affected by COVID-19. He ended up attending Northwest Kansas Technical College where he played one season there averaging 13 points a game. After the 2020-2021 season he decided to join the army!
