About the Show

Skeptiko.com is an interview-centered podcast covering the science of human consciousness. We cover six main categories:

– Near-death experience science and the ever growing body of peer-reviewed research surrounding it.

– Parapsychology and science that defies our current understanding of consciousness.

– Consciousness research and the ever expanding scientific understanding of who we are.

– Spirituality and the implications of new scientific discoveries to our understanding of it.

– Others and the strangeness of close encounters.

– Skepticism and what we should make of the “Skeptics”.

This is the perfect episode to show how solipistic Alex T. is. Such a hero worship mode over Atwill in this episode. Joe has said/written things that AT needs for his one-trick-pony narrative but clueless about Atwill's full view/bio. Alex was practically wanting to make Joe a guest host in this interview. I'm guessing though, someone clued AT into the whole Atwill bio after the episode, and a safe bet Joe will never be back on or mentioned.

I give up. Alex has to interrupt every guest and go on and on with the same shpiel every interview. This one was the worst. Interesting guests but I have to search for them on other shows to find out what they're about.

The guy who runs skeptiko doesn't know how to run an interview.. absolutely one of the worst. He routinely fights with the guest and doesn't let them get their point across. I wanted to hear what Tom Cowan wanted to say, but he kept interrupting to the point where the guest just couldn't deal with him anymore. Same happened with Jason Louv. This podcast doesn't deserve to exist.

I been listening to you non stop since I found your podcast a week ago...only thing I'm confused on is what you really feel on global warming you say your concerned and know there's a huge issue but you never say what you think is causing it atleast the few episodes I herd when you discussed it...the best one was with the guy you are cool with but you 2 total disagree about the issue. the episode where he quoted the nasa website or something. anyway I'm curious on what you think the issue is, if you think the climate is changing just not because of us at all? you can email me if you would ever feel like letting me know your stance because I'm really curious after the few shows you say alot but never your stance.

Great interview, except it really annoyed me how Mike kept avoiding your question about advanced technology bordering on spiritualism, I think about that question all the time!

What a load of crap. this guy pretty much started out by saying he was a professional secret keeper and liar. He then tried to justify gaslighting. why should zi believe a word thing guy says?
