Hi everyone! Hope you all are doing really well. Today I am reviewing a skin care essential, i.e a serum from the body shop. This one is from their “Drops of Youth Range” I have been using this one religiously in my skincare routine. Has the product fared? Read to find out. Watch The Body Shop Drops of Youth Concentrate Review on Youtube: Listen to The Body Shop Drops of Youth Concentrate Review: https://skinmakeupjournal.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/08/The-Body-Shop-Drops-of-Youth-Concentrate-Review.mp3 Price of The Body Shop Drops of Youth Concentrate: INR 2895, 30 ml Packaging of The Body Shop Drops of Youth Concentrate: It comes in a compact dropper packaging. The packaging is green and white in colour. The dropper has a pump to dispense the product. The pump does not work. It gets stuck as you are trying to press the dispenser to scoop the product out. Apart from this, the packaging works well. It is travel friendly as well. The dropper helps you keep a check on the amount of product being dispensed. The packaging is hygienic and easy to use. Fragrance and texture of The Body Shop Drops of Youth Concentrate: The product is almost fragrance free. It does not have any particular fragrance. Now talking about the texture. It is very light weight and gets absorbed into the skin really easily. It is not a heavy serum. My Experience with The Body Shop Drops of Youth Concentrate: Before I start talking about the serum, I would like to mention my skin type. I have really dry skin. Now talking about the product, it does not have any anti ageing effects. I have a smile line, near my mouth. I have used almost the complete bottle, but still the line is still visible. There is no difference whatsoever. Now talking about the usage of the product, it works really well as a serum. It hydrates the skin and makes it feel and look healthy and nourished. I love the life it adds to rather dull looking skin. It has never broken out on me or caused any irritation. Two drops are enough for each application so the bottle would last you for 2/3 months. It works really well under the moisturiser. The serum makes your skin smooth as well. It acts as a perfect base to the makeup. Talking about the moisturization, the people with dry skin would require more moisturization. However, the oily/combination skin people would not require additional moisturization. It does not heal or has any skin benefits such as skin ageing, reduction in fine lines or reduction in the size of pores as the SA said. It just makes your skin appear healthy and plumed. Pros of The Body Shop Drops of Youth Concentrate: Hydrates the skin. Makes the skin look healthy and plum. Light weight. Gets absorbed in the skin easily. Hygenic Packaging. Silicon Free. Suitable for all skin types. Cons of The Body Shop Drops of Youth Concentrate: Does not have anti ageing benefits Final Verdict/Rating of The Body Shop Drops of Youth Concentrate: 3/5 If you are looking for an anti ageing serum you should skin this one. This is just a good addition in your skincare routine.

Hi Everyone! Hope you guys are doing really well. If you are someone who loves makeup. This should be your holy grail product. At least this is what I have heard, Now all the bloggers, makeup lovers rave about this product. I had used it sometime in the past but did not purchase it again. This time I had a few issues of breakout while I was applying makeup almost every day. So, I decided to get this one again. Watch Bioderma Sensibio Micellar Cleansing Water Review on Youtube: Listen to Bioderma Sensibio Micellar Cleansing Water Review: https://skinmakeupjournal.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/06/Bioderma-Sensibio-Micellar-Cleansing-Water-Review.mp3 Price of Bioderma Sensibio Micellar Cleansing Water: INR 660 for 100ml INR 990 for 250 ml How to use? Source: http://www.bioderma.com/en/our-products INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE Morning and/or evening – 7 days a week Soak a cotton pad with Sensibio H2O. Gently cleanse and/or remove make-up from your face and eyes. Re-apply until the cotton pad becomes clean. Lightly dab your face with a clean cotton towel. Ingredients: AQUA/WATER/EAU, PEG-6 CAPRYLIC/CAPRIC GLYCERIDES, FRUCTOOLIGOSACCHARIDES, MANNITOL, XYLITOL, RHAMNOSE, CUCUMIS SATIVUS (CUCUMBER) FRUIT EXTRACT, PROPYLENE GLYCOL, CETRIMONIUM BROMIDE, DISODIUM EDTA. [BI 446] What Bioderma says about Bioderma Sensibio Micellar Cleansing Water? Sensitive skin expresses itself through sensations of heat and widespread or localized redness. It becomes dehydrated easily and the ensuing dryness auto-maintains its fragility and leads to unpleasant feelings of tightness. Depending on the cause, severity and stage of sensitivity, Sensibio offers combinations of active ingredients with appropriate textures. BIODERMA, a pioneer when it comes to micellar water with Sensibio H2O, is now the leader in prescriptions and pharmacies*. Sensibio products are suitable for all sensitive and reactive skin types. Packaging of Bioderma Sensibio Micellar Cleansing Water: It comes in a pink and white coloured bottle. The bottle is clear in colour, you can clearly see the amount of product that is still left. I got 250 ml bottle and has a flip opening, the cap closes really properly, and you don’t have to worry about the spillage of the product. The description says that it is a “mild cleansing” water. The ingredient list and all the details are mentioned on the product. The packaging is simple, yet functional. If you mind carrying such a bulky bottle while travelling, you may get the 100 ml version as well. Fragrance and Texture of Bioderma Sensibio Micellar Cleansing Water: The makeup remover does not have any order as such. It does not smell of particularly anything. It has a mild fragrance that goes away after some time. Talking about the texture it is just like water. It looks and feels like water on the skin. My experience with Bioderma Sensibio Micellar Cleansing Water: I use it on my face by pouring the required amount of the body shop’s organic cotton pads. My skin is very sensitive if I may say. It really removes makeup in one go. I was surprised at the way the makeup remover performed. Two cotton pads are good for the complete face. It does not leave any sticky residue on the face and feels so clean. I have used this makeup remover with both heavy duty makeup and normal mild makeup as well. In case of heavy duty makeup. I had to go in with an oil based or mild based cleanser as well. However, it did not find any residue of makeup on the skin. It also removes long lasting lipstick such as mac all fired up. Now talking about the part where I did not like the makeup remover. It does not efficiently remove waterproof eye makeup. This one did not work well in removing plum’s Kajal which is extremely long wear. It is very mild on the eyes and does not irritate eyes at all. It does not sting in the eyes as well. However, it does not remove waterproof eye makeup. My skin is extremely sensitive and tends to break out really easily. It does not make my dry and sensitive skin feel stretchier nor does it cause any breakout. It really feels very soothing and calming on the skin. Now summing up the Pros and Cons: Pros of Bioderma Sensibio Micellar Cleansing Water: Sturdy and Travel-friendly packaging Very mild on the skin Does not make the skin dry or sticky Has a very mild fragrance Comes in various sizes. Cons of Bioderma Sensibio Micellar Cleansing Water: Does not remove waterproof makeup. Final verdict/ Rating of Bioderma Sensibio Micellar Cleansing Water: 4/5 It is definitely something worth trying. I will be buying this one again. This is one of the best makeup removers I have tried and will be buying it again as well. I would go for some other makeup remover for the eyes though. I would recommend this one. Thank you so much for reading, Until next time!! Love, Ridhima

Hi everyone! Hope you guys are doing really well. Today I am going to review one of the most essential skincare product irrespective of any skin type or weather. Yes! You should be applying sunscreen irrespective of the weather or skin type. I have been trying to find out my holy grail sunscreen after the Vichy one was discontinued. Innisfree being one of the good brands in term of skincare, I thought of giving this one a try. I absolutely loved their cushion foundation by the way. Let’s get started with the review! Watch Innisfree Perfect UV Protection Essence Water Base SPF50+ Review on Youtube: Listen to Innisfree Perfect UV Protection Essence Water Base SPF50+ Review: http://skinmakeupjournal.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/06/Innisfree-Perfect-UV-Protection-Essence-Water-Base-SPF50-Review-2.mp3 Price of Innisfree Perfect UV Protection Essence Water Base SPF50+ INR 1050 for 50 ml WHAT IT IS? Source: http://www.innisfree.com/in/en/product/productView.do?prdSeq=22293&catCd01=UA 1. Contains sunflower oil and green tea extract Sunflower oil and Jeju green tea extract help to protect the skin against UV rays2. Hyaluronic acid and ceramide included Both provide moisture and keep the skin feeling hydrated and fresh3. Contains common purslane and Asiatic pennywort extract Both soothe the skin and protect the skin against UV rays and external irritants4. 5-Free system Free from animal ingredients, mineral oil, perfume, tar color and talc Packaging of Innisfree Perfect UV Protection Essence Water Base SPF50+ It comes in a cardboard packaging, with a really small twist opening which is white and yellow in colour with a sunflower drawn on it. I really like the detailing on the packaging. The twist opening is easy to use and the compact size makes it perfect to travel with. A win-win situation you see! It is easy to scoop out the product and the bottle does not get deformed as well So if this sunscreen suits you this would make a perfect travel partner. Texture and Fragrance of Innisfree Perfect UV Protection Essence Water Base SPF50+ The sunscreen has the fragrance of green tea range of Innisfree. The fragrance is really mild and soothing but remains for some time I would say. If you don’t like to wear fragrances that last for 3-4 hours or are allergic to green tea fragrance you should not buy this one. Now talking about the texture, it has a creamy texture that converts to a water-based texture while you blend it into your skin. My experience with Innisfree Perfect UV Protection Essence Water Base SPF50+ The sunscreen is water based which makes it perfect for the people who have really oily skin. Personally, my skin is dry. I usually use a very moisturizing day cream that takes care of the dry patches and the flakey part of the skincare as well. Since it is too hot here in Gurgaon I wanted something lightweight that would not make me sweat and give sun protection as well. Hence, the purchase. You don’t need a lot of product for each application. The first time I used it, I applied it as a normal sunscreen and ended up having a shinny face. I stayed home for a few hours after applying it before stepping out so it did not cause any more shine after blotting it with a tissue. Experience according to the usage: Now, coming to the second time of using the product. I took a very small quantity. The consistency of the sunscreen changes from cream to water-based when you apply it on your skin. It got absorbed readily into the skin and did not leave the white cast on the skin. Honestly, I am okay with the white cast on the skin if the sunscreen really works. Coming back to the sunscreen. This one made me sweat profusely that I usually don’t at all. I would just have oil on my nose, due to the oily T zone. No sweat what so ever even on the forehead. I absolutely hated the shinny texture it gave to my skin. I really felt it got melted with the sweat. The sunscreen somehow does not melt that much when you use it with makeup. I used it beneath my Innisfree cushion foundation and compact studio fix at the top and it worked really well and did not sweat at all. So, if you were to use it you should use a really good powder at the top of it. It makes the blending of makeup really easy though. I somehow don’t see this one working for oily or combination skin. Now summing up the Pros and Cons: Pros of Innisfree Perfect UV Protection Essence Water Base SPF50+ Compact Packaging Does not leave a white cast on the face Gets easily absorbed Cons of Innisfree Perfect UV Protection Essence Water Base SPF50+ Makes dry skin shinny and greasy. Makes you sweat profusely if not topped with a good powder. Somehow, gets washed off with the sweat. The fragrance stays for a long time. Really pricey for the quantity and the way it works. Final verdict/ Rating of Innisfree Perfect UV Protection Essence Water Base SPF50+ 1/5 I absolutely dislike this sunscreen, would not recommend this to anyone or buy it ever again. Thank you so much for reading, Until next time!! Love, Ridhima

Hi Everyone! Welcome back to my blog. Hope you all are doing really well. Today I am going to review yet another skincare product. This time it is a body lotion. I have really dry skin and usually look for something that is really moisturising. This time while I visited the store there was a sale and there was a discount, so I went a little overboard to buy the products. How to Use The Body Shop Wild Argan Oil Body Lotion? Source: https://www.thebodyshop.in/wild-argan-oil-body-lotion.html Massage into skin and allow to sink in before dressing. Watch The Body Shop Wild Argan Oil Body Lotion Review on Youtube Listen to The Body Shop Wild Argan Oil Body Lotion Review http://skinmakeupjournal.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/06/The-Body-Shop-Wild-Argan-Oil-Body-Lotion-Review.mp3 Price of The Body Shop Wild Argan Oil Body Lotion : INR 750, I got it on a discount for INR 545 Packaging of The Body Shop Wild Argan Oil Body Lotion: No points for guessing! This one has a classic Body shop packaging. The packaging is quite handy and easy to travel with. The dispenser packaging works really well. It is quite hygienic and dispenses a good amount of product. It looks really nice as well. In short, great packaging in terms of workability, use and design as well. Fragrance and Texture of The Body Shop Wild Argan Oil Body Lotion: This body lotion has a very creamy texture. It is not thick but very moisturizing I would say. It smells of shea butter and argan oil. I absolutely love the fragrance and enjoy using it very much. If you are someone who does not enjoy every fragrance. I would recommend sniffing it at the store first. My Experience with The Body Shop Wild Argan Oil Body Lotion: I have really dry skin and even drier hands. I tend to wash the hands thousands of time in the day. Don’t even ask me about my OCD issues with hands! It tends to get a lot dry and I really need something that is really moisturizing and takes care of the dry skin. Talking about the body, I usually use this one while I am out of the shower on the damp skin. It moisturizes the body really nicely and I am done for the day. You need one to one and a half pump for complete arm/leg. It gets absorbed into the skin very quickly. You don’t have to work with the product that much. So, if you someone who is always in a hurry in the morning like me. This one is the perfect choice for you. I have been using the bottle extensively for one and a half month. I use it several times in the day/evening if I am at home. It works really well in moisturizing extremely dry hands as well and stays on the skin for quite some time. This one would work really well to moisturize extremely dry skin as well. Just the quantity of the product would vary, nothing else. So, this one could easily be used for the people with dry skin during winters as well. The perfect moisturizer for dry skin. Now summing up the Pros and Cons: Pros of The Body Shop Wild Argan Oil Body Lotion: Workable, easy to use packaging. Hygenic Dispenser pump. Less quantity is required to use the product. Gets absorbed into the skin easily Non-sticky Makes the skin soft and supple. Cons of The Body Shop Wild Argan Oil Body Lotion: The fragrance might be bothersome for someone who does not like argan oil and shea butter. Final verdict/ Rating of The Balm Hawaii Driver License Face Palette: 4.5/5 I absolutely love this body lotion and will try it again as well. Thank you so much for reading, Until next time!! Love, Ridhima

Hi everyone! hope you all are doing really well. I have been trying my best to get back to blogging. The product that I am reviewing today is from Juicy chemistry. I had reviewed their rose water that I really love so I got the lavender water as well. I really like the fragrance of lavender for the record. Ingredients of Juicy Chemistry Lavender Water: Source: https://juicychemistry.com/product/organic-lavendar-water-hydrating-facial-toning-mist-for-dry-to-normal-skin-type/ Lavandula Angustifolia (Lavender)Distillate* *Ingredient from Organic Farming 100 % Of the total ingredients are from organic farming Cosmos organic certified by Ecocert Greenlife according to COSMOS standard Shelf Life of Juicy Chemistry Lavender Water: Before 6 months from the date of Manufacturing Price of Juicy Chemistry Lavender Water: INR 450 Packaging of Juicy Chemistry Lavender Water: It comes in a dark coloured plastic bottle with the sticker with all the details of the product. I usually use organic products for my skin. Thus, I love using forest essentials products. However, I really enjoy trying new ones. The spray pump works fine. The only thing I really don’t like about the packaging is that the sticker covers the entire bottle, you can’t really see how much product is still left. Also, the quality of sticker is not that good. Texture and Fragrance of Juicy Chemistry Lavender Water: If you are someone who loves the lavender fragrance as much as I do, you will a little disappointed. The fragrance of flowers varies from region to region. I really don’t know where these guys are sourcing the flowers from. The spray has a really mild fragrance. It is a colourless water and if I talk about the texture, it is completely non-sticky. My experience with Juicy Chemistry Lavender Water: I have been really enjoying using the lavender water. I have used this one as a toner in my CTM routine religiously. It is not sticky at all and feels really refreshing on the skin. It gets absorbed after some time into the skin readily. This one is meant for dry to normal skin type. I personally have dry skin. It makes the skin feels better in terms of moisture after you have done the cleansing but does not add a crazy amount of moisture to it. I don’t think combination/oily skin people will have an issue using this as well. Now, let’s talk about the other uses of the lavender water. It makes blending of makeup easier. I sometimes spray it on the brush to blend the foundation and it gives that glossy/ dewy finish to the skin. Also, you can use this as a setting spray to freshen up the makeup. Don’t use a lot tough. It might melt the makeup. I have used this as a base of face packs as well, it adds a nice fresh look to the skin while used that way. You can use it during the hot summers to refresh your skin. It has a soothing and calming effect on the skin. Now summing up the Pros and Cons: Pros of Juicy Chemistry Lavender Water: Travel-friendly packaging. Can be used as settings spray. Helps to blend the makeup really well. Adds a soothing/calming effect on the skin. Can be used to refresh the skin. Can be used for all skin types. It does not have a sticky feel to the skin. Cons of Juicy Chemistry Lavender Water: Does not have the best of lavender fragrance. You can’t see how much product is left? Final verdict/ Rating of Juicy Chemistry Lavender Water: 4/5 I would definitely recommend it to someone who is looking for a good toner or somebody who likes lavender water in general. Thank you so much for reading, Until next time!! Love, Ridhima

Hi everyone! hope you all are doing really well. Today I am going to review the teenage night cream from Forest Essentials. I got both the day cream and night cream from the teenage range. Although I am in my twenties, the SA suggested using this range as it was meant for sensitive and dry skin. Watch Forest Essentials Kumkumadi Teenage Night Cream Review: Listen to Forest Essentials Kumkumadi Teenage Night Cream Review: http://skinmakeupjournal.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/05/Forest-Essentials-Kumkumadi-Teenage-Night-Cream-Review.mp3 Price of Forest Essentials Kumkumadi Teenage Night Cream: INR 1,975 for 30 gms Product Description of Forest Essentials Kumkumadi Teenage Night Cream: Source: https://www.forestessentialsindia.com/kumkumadi-teenage-night-cream-30-gms.html According to the Kashyap Samhita, an ancient scripture of Ayurveda, a woman is known as Yuwati from 13 years onwards. Kumkumadikeram night cream is a highly effective night cream which contains powerful Ayurvedic preparations of Kumkumadikeram and Manikya (Ruby) Bhasma which helps to lighten pigmentation and clarify the skin. Renowned as Padmaraga or the Red lotus, Manikya Bhasma has miraculous skin rejuvenating properties. Sweet Almond Oil, Desi Ghee and Shea Butter penetrate into deep layers of the skin at night, and keep the skin healthy and nourished. Product Benefits of Forest Essentials Kumkumadi Teenage Night Cream: Source: https://www.forestessentialsindia.com/kumkumadi-teenage-night-cream-30-gms.html Kumkumadikeram night cream contains powerful Ayurvedic preparations of Kumkumadikeram and Manikya (Ruby) Bhasma which helps to lighten pigmentation and clarify the skin. Packaging of Forest Essentials Kumkumadi Teenage Night Cream: I absolutely love the packaging the forest essentials products have. It is very thoughtful and luxurious. This one comes in a tub packaging with the golden lid. The lid has product name embossed on it. It has a blue colour branding sticker with the logo and other details such as the price and the ingredients written on it. The screw packing prevents the product from spilling and is travel-friendly as well. I really wish that it came with a spoon/spatula. You have to use a q tip every time you are using the cream. You can get a wooden spatula if you as the SA for it tough. It originally comes in a card box, I don’t have that lying around. I am not usually a packaging saver. Fragrance and texture of Forest Essentials Kumkumadi Teenage Night Cream: The night cream has a very heavy texture and is cream based. However, it gets absorbed into the skin with a little bit of massage. The cream smells strongly of saffron which I absolutely love. My experience with Forest Essentials Kumkumadi Teenage Night Cream: I have a really dry skin and was looking for something really moisturizing and that helps combat depigmentation and tanning. I absolutely love forest essentials, I have used their day creams in the past that I would review if I get those again. Although this cream belongs to their teenage range the SA suggested that I should use this according to my skin type and concern. Now coming to the part where I talk about the product it has an orange colour. The one in the images looks a little dark as the cream is almost finished. Initially, the colour was a lighter orange. However, the texture is the same. I am reviewing this one at the time where I have used this completely. The ingredient list is absolutely amazing, kumkumadi oil is considered to be one the best ingredients to lighten the skill. I had used Kama Ayurveda’s kumkumadi oil a few years back that worked really well for my skin. Reading the ingredient list made me buy this one. I have been using in my CTM routine, for over 1 and a half months continuously. You just need a very small amount for each application. Considering my skin is really dry. It lasted me for 3 months. Although I never used it continuously until now. How the night cream works from my experience: I must say this is one of the best night creams I have used so far, It adds a glow to the skin. The skin seems smooth and much more healthy. I have an issue with having under eye bags and have been using this for my under eyes as well. It sure has lightened the dark circles as well. You need a minute or so to massage the product so that it gets absorbed into the skin. It has a creamy texture. I feel it makes you massage your facial skin every day that is really good for the skin. Also, the ingredients are quite impressive skin as natural shea butter, saffron, ruby bhasma (powder), aloe vera juice, orange peel extract. If you talk about the night cream this has all the things you would want your night cream to have. Due to the heavy texture, this is perfect for the overnight pampering of your skin and works well in this weather where AC absorbs that extra moisture from your skin. It brightens up your skin and improves the complexion. It also takes care of the dry patches on the skin. In short, it is worth the price. However, combination skin people may not enjoy using this one that much. If you have oily skin, you should skip this one. Now summing up the Pros and Cons: Pros of Forest Essentials Kumkumadi Teenage Night Cream: Natural Ingredients. Removes the tan. It brightens the skin as well. Keeps the skin hydrated and adds moisture to dry skin It takes care of the dry patches as well. Adds a glow to the skin. Cons of Forest Essentials Kumkumadi Teenage Night Cream: The Price might be a con for some people. Not suitable for the people with oily skin Final verdict/ Rating of Innisfree Whitening Pore Synergy Serum: 4.5/5 I would definitely recommend it to someone who is looking for a good night cream and resue if I get a chance to. Thank you so much for reading, Until next time!! Love, Ridhima

Hi everyone! Hope you all are doing good. Today I am reviewing one of the most neglected products in most of our skincare routine. It is a serum This one is from Innisfree. Serum should be the next product to the toner in your skincare routine, so ideally CTM routine should be changed to CTSM! Just saying! Watch Innisfree Whitening Pore Synergy Serum Review: Listen to Innisfree Whitening Pore Synergy Serum Review: http://skinmakeupjournal.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/05/Innisfree-Whitening-Pore-Synergy-Serum-Review.mp3 Price of Innisfree Whitening Pore Synergy Serum Review: INR 2500 for 50 ml. Date manufactured / Shelf life after initial opening of Innisfree Whitening Pore Synergy Serum use within 36 months What it is http://www.innisfreeworld.com/product/productView.do?prdSeq=10590 Squeezed fresh tangerine peel juice for fresher skincare and brighter skin. Fresh tangerine peel juice made by squeezing fresh tangerine peel harvested in Jeju contains six types of citrus flavonoid for brighter, clearer skin. Skin tone, dark spot, and pore care in one. Brightens dull and uneven skin tone and inhibits melanin generation in skin to brighten the dark spots and smooth the texture for flawlessly radiant skin. Once with essence and twice with ampoule The ampoule and essence mix as you pump and penetrates fast upon application to brighten your skin tone and dark spots. How to use Put 1-2 pumps of serum into your hands and apply it around your face. Apply another layer on areas with dark spots. Gently pat for the best absorption. *The ampoule mixes with the serum and comes out white after 3-4 uses. Ingredients Squeezed tangerine solution for more refreshing, brighter skin. Squeezed tangerine solution sourced from fresh tangerines grown on Jeju Island and contains 6 kinds of flavonoids, which help make the skin look bright, clean and flawless. Packaging of Innisfree Whitening Pore Synergy Serum: It comes with a compact pump packaging which is very cute I must say. The bottle has the images of citrus fruits referring to the fact that it contains vitamin c. It has a small silver pump that dispenser the product. The bottle is not travel-friendly as it opened up in my bag while I was travelling. I would suggest that you check the bottle before buying it or at least talk to the SA about the exchange. I had an issue with the packaging of Innisfree foam facewash initially as well. Texture and Fragrance of Innisfree Whitening Pore Synergy Serum: The serum has a very light texture. It is very smooth on the skin. It is clear at first but as you use the product you will see the texture changing to white thick texture. Initially, I thought that the product might have gone bad as it was kept unused for a month or so. On visiting the store, I found out that it has crushed vitamin c capsules, that is why the thick texture. However, the product gets absorbed into the skin readily. You can that in the video as well. My experience with Innisfree Whitening Pore Synergy Serum: I have used the product on and off. I used it for good 15 days at first and did not see any difference as such. So, I discontinued using it until I found it again in my stash. Talking about the effectiveness, it has shown improvement in my skin but over a very long period of time. It takes for about a month to the slightest bit of result and honestly, I am not at all satisfied with it. You need a pump or one and a half pump for each application. So, this bottle will last you for about 40 days to close to 2 months. I have not seen any reduction in the size of the pores as well using this one. I heard a lot of good things about this, but it did not work for me. It gets absorbed in the skin easily, does not cause any irritation or breakout which is good. It does not make your skin oily or sticky so can be used by people with oily skin as well. I won’t be buying it again though. Now summing up the Pros and Cons: Pros of Innisfree Whitening Pore Synergy Serum: Contains vitamin E capsules It is lightweight and non-sticky Gets easily absorbed into the skin. Suitable for all skin type Does not cause skin irritation Cons of Innisfree Whitening Pore Synergy Serum: Does not live up to its claims. Shows a very minute difference in pigmentation in a very long time. Final verdict/ Rating of Innisfree Whitening Pore Synergy Serum: 1/5 I would not recommend this to anyone. However, the product seems to have good results for a lot of people. If Innisfree products work for you, you might want to consider this one as well. Thank you so much for reading, Until next time!! Hi everyone, hope you are doing well. Summers are here, and sunscreen is an essential part of your skincare routine and you just can’t skip it no matter what season it is. I have dry to normal skin, I got this sunscreen because of the dry touch claim and the fact that it has SPF 50+. Watch Neutrogena Ultra Sheer Dry Touch Sunblock SPF 50+ Review on YouTube: Listen to Neutrogena Ultra Sheer Dry Touch Sunblock SPF 50+ Review: http://skinmakeupjournal.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/04/Neutrogena-Ultra-Sheer-Dry-Touch-Sunblock-SPF-50-Review.mp3 Shelf Life of Neutrogena Ultra Sheer Dry Touch Sunblock SPF 50+ 3 years Price of Neutrogena Ultra Sheer Dry Touch Sunblock SPF 50+ INR 550 How to use Neutrogena Ultra Sheer Dry Touch Sunblock SPF 50+ Source: https://www.nykaa.com/neutrogena-ultrasheer-dry-touch-sunblock-spf-50.html Apply your Neutrogena sunscreen liberally on all the exposed area 15 ? 20 minutes before stepping out in the sun. Packaging of Neutrogena Ultra Sheer Dry Touch Sunblock SPF 50+ The sunscreen comes in a tube packaging which is travel-friendly and easy to use. You can carry the sunscreen in your bag and use it during the day for touch-ups. The nozzle of the tube dispenses a lot of product as it is wide, so you have to be careful while you use it so that it does not dispense more product. In my opinion, the tube packaging works better than the pump one as you can keep a track of product that you are using. Fragrance and Texture of Neutrogena Ultra Sheer Dry Touch Sunblock SPF 50+ The sunscreen is white cream-based sunscreen that has a medicinal fragrance. The texture is light weight and gets absorbed into the skin easily. It appears to be shinny at first and then mattifies to a dry texture in some time. My Experience with Neutrogena Ultra Sheer Dry Touch Sunblock SPF 50+ I have used this sunscreen on my face and body both. You have to make sure that you don’t use a lot of product otherwise you may feel sticky and a little too oily on your skin. It does not leave a white cast on your face or body which is good. It has a non-matte texture and has a shinny finish at first which becomes matte after some time in a minute or so. The fragrance of the sunscreen is not too strong and goes off after some time. It has a dry matte finish on the skin within a minute of applying it, but you have to make sure that you don’t use a lot of product. Now talking about the effectiveness of the product. I have used this sunscreen literally just once in the morning and been in Delhi’s sun for the complete day. Well! It is not technically the complete day. I mean just out in sun during lunch hours and normal office routine and I did not get tan on my body. But, talking about my face. My forehead has skin discolouration and gets tanned really easily. This did not keep me 100% tan free but, did a decent job. I have not really reapplied this one. Maybe if you reapply it after 3-4 hours it shows better results. It does not make your skin sweaty or oily during the day. Although I have dry skin, I have used some sunscreens that would make me sweat a lot in the sun, which is not the case with this one. The sunscreen is water- resistant and sweat resistant which just adds to its goodness. Also, brownie points for being PAGA and oil free. This would work well with people with both dry skin and oily skin as well. It does not clog your pores and allows you skin to breathe. This is a good sunscreen for all skin types. Even the people with sensitive skin would enjoy using this one. I would recommend it to someone who wants to invest in a good sunscreen. The only sunscreen that I absolutely loved for my face is Vichy. I still had to review it, but it got discontinued in India. I have reviewed the Vichy Ideal Soleil Invisible Mist SPF 50 here. That is the best sunscreen that I have ever used. Let me know if you know where I could still find it in India. You don’t need a lot of product for each application so one bottle would last you for a couple of months I would say. Now summing up the Pros and Cons: Pros of Neutrogena Ultra Sheer Dry Touch Sunblock SPF 50+ Does not leave a white cast on the face Gets absorbed into the skin quickly. Has a matte finish. Can be used for the body as well. Travel-friendly. High SPF content Waterproof and sweat proof. Suitable for sensitive skin and does not cause breakouts. Lightweight formula Would work for all skin types. Cons of Neutrogena Ultra Sheer Dry Touch Sunblock SPF 50+ Needs reapplication to protect skin from tan. Final Verdict/ Rating of Neutrogena Ultra Sheer Dry Touch Sunblock SPF 50+ 4.5/5 I would definitely recommend this sunscreen to anyone who is looking for a decent sunscreen this summer. Thank you so much for reading, Until next time!! Love, Ridhima
