It may have been a bit of a wait, but here is the latest podcast from the usual team discussing the start to the current season, the good bits and the bad (that would be Colchester by the way!!).Great to be back.
Plenty to look forward to with new signings ready to start the campaign with a trip to Matlock as per usual followed by games against Burton, Forest and Sheff U.
Was this a good season - yes undoubtedly but it could have been just that one step better with a trip to Wembley and who knows what result??The guys round off the season knowing that Wimbledon got there and a teary eyed Walsall keeper just missed out. Karma is just a ...............

The Cookball bandwagon rolls on with only few and temporary blips on the way back to the promised land of EFL Division 2.Our usual podcasters are back with analysis, comment and enthusiasm to dissect the games played since the last pod in November last year.
The usual foursome make a welcome return with the Club top of the league, still in the FA Cup and unbeaten for so long who can still remember that feeling of defeat coming away from Altrincham!Still plenty to review and forecast ahead to what we all hope is a season for the record books.
The first podcast of the new season, 8 games in and a galore of goals to report on. Fortunately the number scored is far more than conceded so a points tally of well over 2 per game puts us level at the top of the League. Now for getting back to top spot and staying there!
Another new season dawns and the big question is asked - will this be our last in the National League?We are everyone's favourite to win the title but football isn't like that. If it was we would simply let the bookies and pundits decide the outcome before a ball is kicked.Twists and turns are on the way, but in Cookie we trust (still) and we are strapping in for the ride to the EFL. Long overdue but Wrexham waited far longer and needed Hollywood to get them over the line. The usual boys discuss what lies ahead for the Spireites in their first pop of the season.
You thought it was all over after Wembley - it is now!The usual podcasters decide that an open air, all together discussion would be a great way to end and review a great season of football at CFC. If only Wembley had been decided in normal time, or even extra, but the heartache of penalties now needs to fade into the distance as the close season starts with plans being made for a new season.
That's right - WEMBLEY 2023 - it's time for the Blues to take that one final step this season and end the recent years of frustration and get back into the EFL. Notts County will have a different view of course but they are now all that stands in our way to a new horizon.COTB
