The glass dog is perfect, and the wizard is happy, but the glass blower takes the magic potion and saves a rich woman’s life with it, hoping for a big reward. But things don’t work out quite as he had hoped.

Later, Hetty discovers a hidden message in the workbox that leads to the discovery of a long-lost fortune, ensuring Miss Bennett's comfort and happiness—their friendship and unselfish acts of giving lead to a happy ending.
