In this concluding episode, the most damning evidence of all comes from none other than Michael Mackay's very own father. There will also be a bonus episode released in two weeks, where I interview not only the attorneys that plan to prosecute Mackay's felony which could potentially put him away for 30 years. I also follow up with Legacy Granite, who, as you might recall, recommended Michael Mackay to Nicol, the woman he later victimized.

Witnesses start revealing somewhat conflicting stories concerning the Ohio-Florida connections, and who might be holding onto the money, which further reveals a nuclear level detonation that turns the entire story on its head.

Discovering some troubling new details of the case, the similarities between two Pensacola fraudsters reveal a pattern that leads all the way back to Ohio - and to a scam that traipses into the MILLIONS of dollars. Keep in mind that this episode was broken up into two parts. So, the next one will be coming out on Tuesday, July 26.
Every time I've sat down to put the finishing touches on the second episode of the second season of Small Town Justice, I've stumbled onto a new interview that shakes things up and I have to go back and re-edit. Additionally, it appears that Mackay has been released from prison just as new warrants were issued for his arrest on charges of theft for ore than $400,000. So, I just wanted to drop everyone a line and let you know that we're almost there It'll just be a short time before I have more information and can then complete and release the second ep. Thanks for your patience!Until then, find and follow me on my socials: TW/IG @cyleodonnell, and join the fan club at LegallyInsaneFilms.com to make sure you get the full episode and all the extras. I've also added Legally Insane News to the fan club, which is INCLUDED with your Investigator level membership - that's two shows for just $5/mo.See you again soon!

The second season of Small Town Justice opens with the witnesses who were conned, victims who were physically assaulted, and even the law enforcement that investigated Michael Mackay for his crime spree - starting way back with his teenaged joyriding. We also hear from the multiple felon himself, through what appears to be a livestreamed investment scam and a paranoid rant against a would-be mark. Ep 11: Bazaar

2022-05-1329:11

In this post-season bonus episode, we talk with Roy, the manager of the car dealership that employed Robert Stoll, who, not incidentally, robbed and stole from them. You're welcome.
Ep 10: Inmate Stoll

Ep 10: Inmate Stoll

2022-05-1001:04:34

In not one, but two calls with Robert Stoll in prison, he reveals quite a lot about the crimes he admitted to, including a remorseless denial of his criminal activities, the addiction that fueled his crime spree, and so much more. This is the interview the entire season comes down to, and it's definitely the one you'll want to hear.
Ep 9: Bott Out

Ep 9: Bott Out

2022-05-0301:08:51

In our second-to-last episode of the season, we finally hear from Angela Bott, wife of our inmate of interest, and mother to his child. She gives us her take on the mess her husband caused, the lead-up to his incarceration, his drug addiction, his motivations for committing fraud and theft, and targeting little, old ladies in her own neighborhood. Next week we speak with Robert Stoll, himself, in jail - currently serving a 10-year sentence. To get all of the case files and video episodes throughout this season, head over to LegallyInsaneFilms.com and click "Join the Fan Club." Ep 8: Vics & Dics

2022-04-2901:06:54

For those who wanted to get some background on just how many victims, cops and even other businesses that were disrupted by Stoll's activities, this is your episode. Listen in as I find out how many people have died without seeing justice, a car dealer who had cars stolen right off his lot by Stoll, companies that victims went to in order to put their homes back together, and even undercover cops who detail their time being scammed by him as well.To vote on the finality of the show, and to let us know what you'd like to hear for Season 2, sign up for our fan club at LegallyInsaneFilms.com and click "Join the Fan Club." Ep 7: Garden of Edie

Ep 7: Garden of Edie

2022-04-2655:32

The spectacular gal in this episode is another of Robert Stoll's victims that refused to wear the title of victim. She fought back and counted herself as one of the victors of justice. Fun fact: Stoll's conviction came on Edie's birthday. What a gift in an otherwise terrible story of fraud that befell her and at least 15 other targets in the Florida panhandle. For those keeping up with our livestreams, you'll know that we talked to Angela Bott, the wife of our convict of interest, and she answered a lot of those questions that our victims wanted to know about. Like, why would he do this, what were his motivations, and how could he get away with it for so long. She also detailed the fateful day that he was arrested, claiming, among other things, that the officers turned off their cameras and lied to her in order to get her to comply and tack on additional charges on Stoll. These charges, she says, were intended to keep him from getting a bond for release. This one factor had Stoll sitting in jail for nearly two years awaiting trial. Ep 6: Renee's Rent

Ep 6: Renee's Rent

2022-04-1950:24

Through not one but two separate interviews, Michael Mackay's and Robert Stoll's former landlord details the "act of God" it took to get them out of the warehouse she rented to them. She also describes how, if you're a con willing to abuse Florida's rental laws, you can basically live rent free for indefinitely, eluding to the notion that, in addition to scamming the residents of Gulf Breeze and Pensacola, they also allegedly scammed their renters. For those keeping up on our livestreams, I've said that I plan to call Stoll’s wife on tonight’s livestream. So, if you want to hear how that conversation goes, head over to LegallyInsaneFilms.com and join the fan club at the investigator level to tune in as we talk about all kinds of interesting things.UPDATE: I've been approved to speak with Robert Stoll, who's currently in jail. One of the items I'll be discussing with Angela Bott - Stoll's wife and mother to his child - are other potential ways to talk to him. More on that in tonight's livestream. Ep 5: Better Business

Ep 5: Better Business

2022-04-1201:00:19

The ladies at the Florida Better Business Bureau's investigations unit may be insanely fun to talk to. But don't get them confused with push-overs. They are not only responsible for coordinating Stoll's case with the Florida state prosecutor's office. They're also largely responsible for collecting and organizing a huge number of Stoll's victims. There's absolutely nothing that I could say to equate to level of appreciation that these victims have expressed to me for the hard work that Lisa and Tammy did in bringing Stoll to justice. Listen in as they detail how they came upon this case, what they did about it, and what you can do about fraud being perpetrated in your community. As you heard in this episode, there are tons of new updates that we cover in our livestreams. Today's talk is with the prosecutor who locked in an impressive conviction for Robert Stoll. His sentence didn't just include 10 years for felony racketeering. It also included 25 years of probation along with an order of restitution for his victims. Albeit, this will be after he's served at least 80% of his time, per Florida's penal code. And even then, due to the vast number of victims, they really won't get much per month. But it's still a slam dunk by anyone's standards. Thanks so much for sticking with us this far in Season One of Small Town Justice. This season is called The Cabinet Con, and this is the fourth episode. That means that you've been with us an entire month! We're so honored to have you. Ep 3: Bea is for Brave

Ep 3: Bea is for Brave

2022-03-2959:18

In this week's episode we hear from Bea, another in a long line of victims that Robert Stoll was convicted of defrauding for nearly $100,000. Her contribution to that pile of money was $6,400. And Bea is a single mother, a veteran, and a school teacher with three children. So, that hit her in the wallet pretty hard. It was because of Bea's story that we set up an account to collect donations to help her finally get the dream kitchen that she paid for. If you would like to donate, visit LegallyInsaneFilms.com/Fund, and if you donate $20 or more, I'll even give you a copy of my latest documentary. Let's see if we can help make her whole again. Ep 2: Micah's Marauder

Ep 2: Micah's Marauder

2022-03-2252:14

After last episode's revelation of a potential ringleader in the fraud game, Micah and my co-host speculate that a more sinister game may be afoot. I don't want to give it all away, but since this episode, I've spoken with a state level investigator as well as the prosecutor's office in this case, and I can say that our early stage assumptions may have been onto something. Stay tuned for more interviews with those on the inside of this momentous case of fraud and trickery out of one of America's small beach communities. The winner of last week’s quiz was Mike from Scranton PA, who received a copy of my latest documentary, Big Trouble in Little Quartzsite. If you dislike small town INjustice enough to listen to this show, that story will rock your world. It's won 9 awards in the 2021-2022 film festival season, including Unanimous Jury Selection at the Scottsdale Film Fest in Arizona, and Best Director at the True Crime Film Festival in Atlanta, Georgia. An anonymous alleged victim of Michael Mackay, who's the former business partner of convicted fraudster, Robert Stoll, says he's been ripped off for at or near seven figures. This interview happened in our pre-launch. But Mackay was actually indicted since that time, and this is now shaping up to be one helluva story that's unfolding in real time - right now while you're listening. So, stay tuned as new episodes are released each week. Sixteen victims, nearly $100,000 in damages, a team effort between the Better Business Bureau and the Florida State Prosecutor's office, and felony conviction for racketeering that includes 10 years of jailtime, full restitution, and 25 years of probation. This first season's release couldn't be better timed for March - International Women's Month!
