Description

Can you be friends with an ex? How often is normal? Are all men freaks?

So I Got to Thinking is a hilarious new podcast from bestselling author and journalist Juno Dawson and the editor of QX Magazine Dylan B Jones. Each week, the friends (and sexperts) rewatch the classic HBO sitcom Sex and the City and then attempt to answer Carrie Bradshaw's soul-searching, and occasionally ridiculous, questions for the modern day.

I really do like this podcast, but it sometimes misses the point. Yes these characters and this show often get it wrong with race, sexuality and trans issues but they seem to forget it wasn't just a long time ago but that these characters are so much older than they are so their generational outlook was different. I'm the same age as Juno so I get it, but their outrage at the bi episode was so over the top. Also, not everything is a trans issue. Plus sized model on Cosmo discussing her experience apparently reminds her of trans issues. Carrie smoking somehow links to trans issues. Everything takes a turn back to trans issues. It's a podcast about sex and the city, it's sometimes just a bit repetitive. Juno is awesome, love her. Dylan... He doesn't actually have opinions, he just has a nervous laugh and agrees with everything Juno or their guest says. And says 'oh my god I had that written down' or 'interesting' a lot. He also still, 4 seasons in, sounds embarrassed when she i

I've been a big fan of Juno for a while now. When she announced her podcast I was immediately interested and it's sex and the City themed! 🤗 Love to relieve the series and Dylan's and Juno's discussions and stories related to Carrie's.
