Horror movies may be a thrilling source of entertainment. However, they may also be opening the door to allow demons into your life. Demons are sneaky and they are always looking for ways to infiltrate. You must remain vigilant and be on guard at all times. Surround yourself with Scripture, read your Bible daily, pray continually, and avoid evil at all costs. Yes, movies are only movies. However, horror movies that are about spiritual beings can be very dangerous. Do not give the enemy a foothold in your life. If there is any question, simply avoid the horror movies. There are plenty of other movies you can watch. What are you doing in your life? If you're not careful, you may be unknowingly inviting demons into your life. This can negatively affect your life and the lives around you. Demons are beings of pure evil. They are evil beyond our comprehension. They are sneaking, cunning, and always looking for ways to infiltrate your life. Therefore, you must be on guard and stand firm in the faith. There may be several instances where you are unknowingly inviting demons into your life. Examine your day-to-day activities and make sure there is nothing that will give the enemy a foothold. Spend a lot of time in prayer every day. Read your Bible. Talk about the Scriptures with others. Make sure that you are creating an environment of holiness. Do that, and the demons will flee from you. Spirits must be invited into your life. That goes for both good and evil spirits. If you want Jesus in your life you have to invite Him. Jesus stands at the door knocking, waiting for you to let Him in. The Holy Spirit also waits for you to invite him into your life. After you've invited Jesus, invite the Holy Spirit into your life every day to continually be filled with the Holy Spirit. In the same way, evil spirits are also waiting for your invitation. You must be on your guard and resist them at all times. You must constantly fight by allowing Jesus and the Holy Spirit to fight for you. Remember, all spirits must be invited so pay close attention to what you do. Demons are cunning and will seize any moment as an invitation even if you don't realize it. Therefore, continually invite holiness into your life so there will be no room for evil. Don't open the door to demons in your life is the start of a new sermon series called No Demons Allowed. You cannot allow demons into your life. Make no mistake, they want to rule and control you. Demons constantly search for ways to infiltrate your life and wreak havoc. If you open the door to them, you invite chaos and negativity into your world and the world of those around you. It is crucial to remain vigilant and protect yourself from such malevolent and evil beings. Remember, what you allow in will ultimately shape your reality. Don't open the door to demons, instead welcome positivity and light into your life. Work hard to be a good servant faithfully taking care of all that God has blessed you with. You need to be a loyal follower of Jesus and strive to serve others with love, compassion, and humility. Remember, that you are a servant of God and He has trusted you with gifts, possessions, and wealth here on earth. Show God that you can be trusted with His property. He owns it all. It's your job to be a good servant and take care of it. Commit yourself to being good a servant like Jesus and always put the needs of others before your own desires. Living in selfless love as a living sacrifice for the benefit of those around you. Let your light shine before others so they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven. Not listening to God can cause serious trouble in your life. It is crucial to listen to God and follow His path. You can only find true peace and fulfillment through Him. Don't let pride or stubbornness prevent you from receiving the blessings that come with aligning yourself with God's will. Take a step toward faith today and watch how He transforms your life for the better. Trust in Him, listen to His voice, and experience the abundant grace He has waiting for you. Jonah was a man who tried to run away from God's plan for him. He thought he knew better than God, but in the end, he found himself in deep trouble. When Jonah finally listened to God and followed His instructions, things turned around for the better. Exactly like Jonah, you may think you know what's best for your life. But if you listen to God and trust Him completely, He will guide you on the right path. Don't make the same mistake as Jonah - choose to follow God's lead and watch how everything falls into place perfectly. Remember that listening to god is not only about following rules or rituals; it's about having faith that He knows what is truly best for you. So take a lesson from Jonah’s story and start trusting in God today – your future self will thank you! God may do things in your life that you don't understand. When this happens, never ask why. Instead, trust God and lean on His knowledge and understanding. God's plan is perfect and His ways are higher than your own. Trust in Him, and have faith that everything happens for a reason, even if you don't understand it. Never ask why, as asking why only leads to doubt and confusion. Instead of questioning God's will, embrace it with open arms and believe that He has a greater purpose for you. Keep your trust in Him unwavering, knowing that He works all things together for the good of those who love Him. So never ask God why; simply have faith and surrender yourself to His divine wisdom. God's commands are not optional suggestions - they are absolute requirements. Therefore, you need to obey God. Disobeying God is a grave mistake that can lead to disastrous consequences in this life and the next. It is crucial to remember that obedience to God brings blessings, protection, and ultimately eternal salvation. He knows what's best for you and will never lead you astray. No matter what challenges or temptations you may face, always choose to obey God. His wisdom surpasses your understanding, and His ways are higher than yours. Sadness after death is very common. However, remember that death is a natural part of life. For Christians, death should be considered a happy moment that allows you to finally live with Christ in eternity. Therefore, when a brother or sister in Christ dies, grieve for a while. Then, rejoice that they are in Heaven with Jesus and look forward to the day you will be there as well. It is when an unbeliever dies, that you should be in the most anguish. Allow the sadness after death to break your heart because you know that this person has chosen to spend eternity away from God. Let this knowledge fuel you with a passion to NEVER allow that to happen again. Do everything you can do to share Jesus with as many people as possible. If those people don't become Christians, it won't be because you didn't try. Therefore, do your best to ALWAYS share Jesus with everyone you meet. Death is a natural part of life, ordained by God Himself. Therefore, you need to accept that death is in God's plan. It is not something to be feared or avoided, but rather embraced as a necessary step in the cycle of existence. Birth is the beginning of your life here on earth and death is the end of it. However, for Christians, death is the beginning of your eternal life with God in heaven! Therefore, be excited for this day. God has created each one of you with a purpose and plan in mind. Your time here is limited, and when it comes to an end, trust that it was all part of His divine will. Death may seem like an end to some, but for those who trust in God's ultimate design for their lives and believe in Jesus, it is merely another chapter closing before a new one begins. So let go of your fear and apprehension about death. Instead, embrace it as a part of life. Trust that God knows what He's doing, and have faith that He will guide you through death with love and grace. If you hang out with unrighteous people, they will pull you down. The company you keep has a direct impact on your character. Surround yourself with positive influences who uplift and inspire you to be the best version of yourself. Avoid those who exhibit bad behavior, as their negative influence can corrupt even the strongest of moral compasses. Choose your friends wisely, they have the power to shape your values and beliefs in profound ways. Remember: bad character corrupts good morals - so be careful who you associate with. Satan is blinded by pride and arrogance and time and time again it contributes to his downfall and destruction. You can learn from his mistakes and make the choice to avoid pride at all costs. Satan became prideful and thought he could do a better job at being God than God could. Satan was blinded and fought against God. Of course, he lost and was cast out of heaven and down to earth. Satan was blinded by pride and thought he could rid the earth of God (Jesus) once and for all by executing Jesus. However, he was so blinded that he didn't realize he was playing right into God's plan. Learn from this. Don't allow pride to blind you. Make no mistake. Pride goes before destruction. If you allow any hint of pride in your life, you are asking for downfall and destruction to follow. In the New Testament, Jesus himself declared that it is not what goes into a person's mouth that defiles them, but what comes out of their heart. Does this mean that the Old Testament rules about clean and unclean foods no longer apply to Christians? Are believers in Christ free to enjoy all types of food without fear of breaking any religious laws? Yes, and no. Paul further explains that Christians need to be mindful of others. Therefore, if a particular food may lead someone astray, then you need to avoid it when you are around that person. As for specific food laws, focusing on strict dietary restrictions can distract you from more important matters such as showing love and compassion toward others. Instead of obsessing over whether certain foods are considered clean or unclean according to tradition, focus on living a life filled with kindness and generosity. Therefore, embrace your freedom in Christ and remember that true purity comes from having a pure heart full of love for God and others.
